Re: Furies Jersey on ebay
I bought a silkscreened jersey a few years back just to wear around the house. I was bummed to hear the movie jerseys are light grey. Yet the ones on ebay are white.

Re: why didn't fox tell the others?
They didn't know until AFTER meeting the LIZZIES that THEY were the ones wanted for the Cyrus killing. From the start, they all were worried about getting home. That was all on their mind. They all saw Cyrus get shot and that was life. They knew it wasn't one of their own who did it, so it was a no...

Re: the fox walks out?
I met David Harris at the San Diego Comic Con a few years back and asked him about Thomas Waites leaving the movie. David said you could see it coming and Thomas was in no position to do what he did. He said once it happened, it was no big surprise. David also added that Thomas apologized to everyon...

Re: impossible shot at cyrus
Take a few things into consideration. 1. People were caught up in the moment. 2. During all the excitement everybody starts running in a panic and doesnt have a chance to tell someone. 3. This is pre-cell phone. If you saw it happen you would have to spread the word by regular phone or word of mouth...

Re: Would the warriors stand a chance in the real world?
I dont think the Warriors would be able to exist in todays gang world because they had a code they lived by. Call it a code of honor or loyalty, but even though they were hardcore boppers they still had morals. I live in Southern California and there are always stories in the newspaper about gang me...

Re: Questions
If someone else saw Luther shoot Cyrus, we would never have had an awesome film. :D And I agree with an earlier point. They were focused on Cyrus and if Luther was in the middle of his 8 Rogues, he would have been partially obscured from the others. Although a Riff should have seen the shot since t...

Re: Would the Furies ever be the same?
I recently watched the movie and thought about why there were only 9 Furies that faced the Warriors. One of my thoughts is this: 1. Since only 9 delegates from each gang were allowed to attend the conclave, the rest of the Furies had the night off and left town or went to a Mets or Yankees game. 2. ...

My son and I are talking about the trip as well. We too live in California, Orange County to be precise, and he loves the movie and video game. He got all excited when he met Michael Beck in San Diego 2 years ago. Following the route from the Conclave to Coney would be awesome. C2C in 09.

Re: do you think the furies would have done better in the fu
The Furies dropped the ball when they just stood around watching their members being taken down one-by-one. The fight was 8 on 3 at one point and they didnt bumrush at least one member of the Warriors. In a hand to hand fight they would have received the same beating.

Re: In The City lyrics
I saw the Eagles in November of 2005 and Joe Walsh performed the song about 3/4 through the show. As soon as he played the opening riff I knew what it was. I took out my cell phone and called home so the the answering machine would record about a minute of the song. I could have left after it ended...

Re: Buying VHS
Alot of Video Rental stores in my area are phasing out VHS tapes and strictly renting DVD's. There is a Hollywood Video store that was selling 3 VHS tapes for a dollar. A friend called me to say he bought 300 tapes. It sounds crazy though to buy that many. How many can you watch before the player b...

Re: Autographed Rockstar Poster
What's the story on the 12 signatures on the Warriors poster? When and where was it done? Its awesome that you got Thigpens sig. since she is deceased. I have seen Michael Beck and Deborah V. at the San Diego Comic Con the past couple of years. The guy with the pipe has the right idea. Im planning t...

Warriors Conclave 2009
I searched around and didn't find any posts talking about the possibility of a Warriors Fan Summit in 2009 so I'll ask myself. 1. Is the Conclave 2009 still in the planning stages? 2. Is it realistic that it might happen? I went to a Dawn of the Dead 25th Anniv. fanfest in Monroeville PA. At the mal...

Re: The Warriors is the new Star Wars
Like most kids in the 70's, Star Wars was a big part of my life back then. It was the first film you saw multiple times. I saw it 7 times during that summer and my parents thought I was crazy. But as big a film that was, if I had to chose 3 films to watch on my death bed it would be (in no particula...
