Stuntman/Actor, Steve Chambers (aka: Baseball Fury, Purple/Black Face) was the jail guard who went out the multi story jailhouse window with Blue Duck. 

Chambers was also one of several stunt/crew members involved in the cattle drive and fast water/flood scene in the movie. 

Born in Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley, California - now live in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area, Nevada.

One of my favorite Westerns is The Long Riders (1980) directed by Walter Hill (The Warriors 1979 director).  The movie has a great story line, soundtrack, great acting and stunts.
