Re: Apocalypto
Mayans were one of those cultures, similar to the Babylonians or those on Crete that had no violence in their artwork. The scene where the sacrifice-ees walk through the tunnel and see pics of people getting butchered is completely false. the whole scene was drenched in bias but i enjoyed the sheist...

I box at IMB for fun...not for competition, I'm alright at it. I prefer JKD over it because you can use your whole body.

Re: The Protector
I bought an 8 dollar dvd off an amazon.com seller, it was the uncut (miramax does terrible hack jobs on foreign films) version. pretty fun, yet somehow lacking the charm that ong bak had. it sure was refreshing though that Kham didn't do the whole "i refuse to fight" thing. but even in the thai vers...

it looks pretty good for that ind of film. The "that was better than sex." "that was sex" part was very funny.
Those guys need to pitch in and either get a boom mic or simply a better boom mic if they already have one.

Just saw the movie at 10 tonight and used the ol' SEARCH function here and i have to say it's one of the better times i've had at the theatres this year (i haven't seen Talladega Nights yet, so my view is kinda off i guess). Its the kind of movie that you should only see with a room full of people t...

I can play about half of "Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child" on my bass.
And about half of the Maylene and the Sons of Disaster cd too.
Along with a few random songs.

Song: When The Sun Sleeps Artist: UnderOath Album: The Changing Of Times Released: February 2002 Why? This was the last CD Dallas Taylor recorded with UnderOath and it kinda set the tone for the later albums. Dallas' voice is much throatier and dirtier, ten times better than the new guy's. It's an o...

No need to be ashamed. And if you are looking for something new in the vein of Prince, then look no further than Hunter Revenge. Not sure if he's released a CD yet though.

Re: WHY????
And where in CA are you basing this from? When the game was released there was a Baseball Fury billboard about two miles from my house. And of course the videogame stores had all the merchandising stuff out. And why do te Blockbusters, etc have only one copy? Because it would not be cost effective t...
