Re: Custom 6" Warriors: Cleon & Snow
If I ever get to the Orphans, Sully and Apache are the only two I'd do. I have to say I think the Apache that Lions made is hard to beat - that thing was spot on.

Re: Custom 6" Warriors: Cleon & Snow
For Vermin and Cochise, I'll be using the same body as the first 4. I'm not going for total accuracy (they are toys after all). Vermin will get some special chest hair attention and I may ad some pounds around his abs to soften his look a bit. Cochise will get new or fully re-sculpted lower legs ...

Re: Custom 6" Warriors: Cleon & Snow
Yeah, I plan to use a different thinner body for Cowboy, Rembrant and Fox or to dremel down the Wolverine bodies to get them smaller. I have my eye on some Fei Long bodies from the Street Fighter toy series that might work.

Re: Custom 6" Warriors: Cleon & Snow
Thanks for the praise and critiques. I have these guys posted on some custom figure sites where they are making a splash (and hopefully generating interest for The Warriors) but your opinions are the ones that really count. I'm really happy with how these came out but they took a toll on me so I'll...

Custom 6" Warriors: Cleon & Snow
And then there were 4. I love how these two turned out. Let me know what you think. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h235/Darkstormninja/DSCN1317.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h235/Darkstormninja/DSCN1307.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h235/Darkstormninja/DSCN1309.jpg http://i65.ph...

Just scored an original 1978 NY Subway map
I know, you are thinking, "so what?" Well, this was the re-disigned subway map seen in the film. I plan to make a high quality scan and photoshop gang logos in the corresponding turf. This way I'll have an accurate/frameable turf map to hang in my rec room. It will probably take a few weeks to get...

Re: Will we see future issues of JAILBREAK & THE WARRIORS O.
Glad they spoke out to squash that rumor. Also glad they are checking the site. I love how the internet brings fans and creators together. When G. DelToro was filming the first Hellboy, he set up a fan forum where he would share design and plot points along the way and get our feedback. As a tha...

Re: "Yeah Right"
Actually, in 1980, this responce was slicker than snot and the Riffs were beyond intimidating - orange gis and all. "Yeah right" was the hipper equivalent of "Show ya right". You'll notice the Warriors themselves use the phrase as a means to convey: "I agree/concur" or "no doubt". If you are going...

Re: Fox in The Thing
Funny how so many of us have the same taste in movies. The THING is in my top 20 all time favorite movies. I thought all the actors in this movie were superb. The SE DVD is quite awesome. Probably one of the best crew interview films I've ever seen. I may have to watch it again this weekend.

Re: Custom 6" Warriors: Ajax
Finished the head modifications on Cleon, did his headress and got all the paint applications done. Now I'm just waiting on the base figure to come in the mail so I can get the rest done.

Nice! Reminds me of the custom Swan Lego on ebay. Is that Swan's butt crack? Wrong.

Re: Bought a new vest and need help...
Never did post back about this vest. It was shipped, folded in a USPS paper envelope with no protection. Luckily it wasn't damaged but when you spend over $100 on clothing you expect a little more care in shipping - especially when shipping costs charged were higher than the shipping costs on the ...

Re: Custom 6" Warriors: Ajax
If I get around to doing other gangs I might be able to crank out an extra Electric Eliminator for you but I have to warn you commision custom figure work isn't cheap (good work can run you $50-100 easy - these are one of a kind pieces, almost like buying toy prototypes). When you have a second, PM...

Re: Custom 6" Warriors: Ajax
Ha! Hugh doesn't resemble Remar at all. I took the original head off and sculpted the Ajax head from scratch. By the time I'm done, I'll have a drawer full of discarded Wolverine heads and claws. His likeness did come out better than Swans - but I like Swans hair better. I doubt I'll be able to ...
