We gotta at least make the trek to Coney even if we don't hang there for long though. The Wonder Wheel and cyclone are running. The neighborhood immediately outside the park area can get dodgy pretty fast though....  Since they never actually went to the Bronx while filming, maybe starting at Rivers...

I think August is the best time to really capture that hot summer NYC feel. I've suffered many a brutal night in the city in my 40 odd years and that's what the film looks like to me. 

I doubt they are NIKEs. I was 12 when the film came out and I remember all the sneakers back then. Adidas were big. Nikes?

Well at least it's realistic. If they made the film now they'd have some Cameron Diaz looking girl who would be WAY too hot. Mercy looked like a girl you might find in that situation.
