Re: Boardwalk Scene?

Which are you referring to?  I really enjoyed seeing the scene with Cleon and his girl.  There was an element added to the big picture, especially with the knowledge of his pending doom.  The other daytime scene in which Cleon introduces everybody, I could live without that.

Satan's Mothers vests also show up in that old KISS meets the Phantom of the Park film.

Re: Tantive 7 featured reviewer on imdb.com

This thread is a good example of the old days.  I hope to discuss these things in New Jersey.  Tantive7 was one of the champions of our place.  He was the first to meet and greet with "Cleon" and a handful of other guys from the movie.

Re: Luther?

Cochise name is heard.  Ajax says it as rounds a corner to head up some stairs.  It took a lot of pausing and rewinding to catch that one.

Hello!!  It has been a while.  My name is Emissary and I'm a bit of a golden-ager.  I haven't been around in along time.  But in my day, we talked about all our plans for summer 09.  I would go if Warchief and Fox and SHM and those core guys who I battled with on the regular. are all going.  Is Ranc...

Re: "1990: The Bronx Warriors"

I first saw this movie when I was 10.  I remembered it as being too cool.  Having seen it recently, I was disappointed.  Trash had one thing in common with Cleon-Love for his troops.  I realize its bad acting and all that, but you have to bow to that and just enter that world, afterall, if we don't ...

I hope this happens.  I know it's a year off but big trips need time to be planned.

Everybody, including Luther, knew that 96th St. would be a place they had to go through.

Forget that, why didn't they run?  They were ALL dead.  You'd think someone would grab the gun and dash.

What? They knew where the Warriors were from.  How they got there, nobody knows.

This is an example of not following through as a forum expert. If you know this place well enough to dismiss a post because it's been covered, say where it was covered.

Re: Is woman on the radio a gang's member?

She wasn't a Riff per se.  In the Warriors world, gangs weren't like that.  I know the real world is different.  But, chicks could be in chick gangs only.  The DJ was friendly with the Riffs but not in.

With all the cops there, there was no time or space to remove a body.  They probably took Cleon's head covering, vest and necklace.

Re: riffs and warriors

As a result of that night, there might be a greater respect to the cats from Coney.  Plus if the Rogues had a turf, that was probably up for grabs.
