FANTASTIC!!!
All of a sudden I have a feeling that something really amazing is about to go down regarding James.
I don't know what, but something...

I'll second your idea as the best; Rembrandt gets the Bat!
Speaking of the Furies; the video game download page has a "Fury Leader" desktop, and the illustration makes him look oddly enough like Joe Perry from Aerosmith!

Well, the client was already gone when I went to go look the name up, but I thought it was really cool.

The One Thing I would change.
Instead of having Cleon beat to death, I would let one of the Furies waste one of the lesser Warriors.
As they are the only other gang in the movie with any kind of 'Cool Factor'. I think it's only fair that they should get a little success.

Who would YOU be?
If you had a gang in the movie, what would your 'trip' be, and what would you call yourselves? As for me, my people would wear combat boots and black jeans. And I would design a top that is similar to your regular old pull-over hoodie( no zipper ), with the exception that there is no elastic at the ...

It IS a small world after all!!!!
This is SO AWESOME!!!!! I run the office of a surveying company here in northeastern Arizona, and one of our clients(originally from Boston)came in yesterday. He saw my Warriors desktop, and said "I have a friend who was in that movie". So I said "do you know which character he played( I expected hi...

Re: Authenticity.
ADDENDUM: Just so I am not misinterpreted, I meant that Cloverfield is a Great example of breaking new ground. Yes, Abrams used what I like to call 'Blair Witch Seizurevision', but the Content of said Seizurevision was much more compelling than the movie said filming 'technique' was borrowed from. O...

Re: Were the Warriors a real gang? Sorry if its dumb to ask
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoe_Avenue_peace_meeting Great Link! Thanks! I'm sure it's hard, if not downright impossible, for surviving gang members from the 60's and 70's to look back on thier time in any sort of nostalgic or romantic way( especially when you lose friends or family due to the life...

Re: Authenticity.
I really dread seeing it's good name used to make some modern-day 'Fast and the Furious'-type crap. I was wondering why Fast and the Furious is being compared to the The Warriors:? I didn't really see anything "gang" related in that movie just a bunch of street racing with no gang activity that I...

I think some Movie Vests are better (obviously cause are for a Movie) than the vests from those pics you saw (I think I know the website you mean). But The Sugarhill Gang, apart the name... "Gang"... were really a Gang? If it's true that some Rappers were in a Gang before (and then) becoming Rapper...

Re: Authenticity.
I work with a guy whose friend played one of the Turnbull ACs. He told him that real gangs used to show up at the sets complaining the film was making them look silly and that they took it as a sign of disrespect. And being a New Yorker, MOST of the gangs in THE WARRIORS are VERY unrealistic. Tr...

Re: Were the Warriors a real gang? Sorry if its dumb to ask
The Movie was made something like 10+years after the book, so they went with a more modern( for the time anyway )motif. As I posted earlier, the gangs from that time looked exactly like what you see represented on screen( The Warriors I mean, the other guys are pure theatre; guys in top-hats with pa...
