Think the filmaker Gary Weis was the guy behind the film shorts that were on "Saurday Night Live" short films from the mid-70s.. Swan, old comic book-thing i wrote as a kid..based on friends at the time (late 70s early 80's) like inside jokes of local people (kids) in the area..we were the SSSC..and i made a story (based on 'The Warriors') were we got challanged to fight by gangs in New York called 'In the City'..forgot about...

you boppers are forgetting the two great Civil War Epics GODS AND GENERALS and GETTYSBURG (both over four hours!) but they are both great history learning films about the Civil War and are worth the running time. in fact, since i can wait till NFL is over (bring on the pitchers and catchers!) so ...
