I found this advert in an old magazine from 1988, advertising the new range of £9.99 home videos.

Re: Photos of filming locations from my recent NYC visit

Some great shot's you managed to get Riff. Does the Wonder wheel still light up the same colours as it did in the movie? I don't know, we left late afternoon and sunset is not until about 8.15pm in NYC at the moment so it wasn't lit up whilst we were there. Thinking about it, it would have been goo...

To be honest I didn't think to look at the arcades, so can't answer your question.

Photos of filming locations from my recent NYC visit

Hello all, Well I had a brilliant time in NYC, sadly it had to come to an end and I am now back in the UK. Anyway, I managed to get lots of photos of a few of The Warriors filming locations whilst I was there, Coney Island, the conclave (Riverside Park), 72nd Street station and 100th St. There are q...

Re: Filming location of bronx meeting

Thanks a lot for that, will be really useful. I am going to Coney tomorrow and I definately plan to go to 100th and 96th streets. Will fit as many other bits in as I can. I went up to Harlem and the South Bronx today which was an amazing experience, I have always wanted to go to the Bronx so to fina...

Re: Filming location of bronx meeting

Ah, just found a thread on the general chat, seems the answer to my question is there, its at the end of 97th Street, which is actually very handy as I plan to go up to 100th Street for the Furie chase location.

Filming location of bronx meeting

Hello all, I am currently in NYC and I wanna go to a few Warriors locations whilst I am here. I would really like to find the park they used to film the big Bronx meeting at the start of the movie, I have read on here that it was in Riverside Park on the upper west side. Can anybody tell me a more s...

Re: Wonder Wheel - Coney Island

With regards to safety in NYC I went there in 2008 and I thought that the Police presence on the streets is much better in the UK. I never got to Coney Island but on the Saturday that I was there after having breakfast near Rockefeller Plaza me and my wife got onto Broadway and walked to Battery Pa...

Re: Wonder Wheel - Coney Island

Thanks for the response Lier One. I had read the Subway Station had been renovated a couple of years back, as long as I can get a shot on the platform with the Stillwell Ave sign behind me then I will be happy. I notice a few people mention that there are loads of police in the city, has there been ...

Re: Wonder Wheel - Coney Island

Hey thanks for the replies. An hour by subway from Manhatten, damn thats more than I figured, NYC is obviously bigger than I thought. Although I suppose it's not much different from going across London on the tube from end to end which would take 45 minutes plus. I read soemwhere that there is a big...
