Re: Warriors Vest_Screen Used Original Movie Wardrobe Prop

On the Swan vest you sent over with the upgraded "large" photos. I like the look of the patches quite a bit more then those on Cochise's. But neither vest patches match up to this: http://clothesonfilm.com/the-warriors-leather-vest/1010/ Can you blow up a pic of the one from this link as you had don...

Re: Warriors Vest_Screen Used Original Movie Wardrobe Prop

Yeah, those pics you sent really give us an awesome view. And when you compare both examples (those from the one presently on ebay and those from Profiles in History's Dec. 2010 Auction where it sold for $6,000) they are definately one and the same vest. You cannot have distress exactly in the same ...

Cochise vest on ebay revisited

Hey there folks, Thought I found something which may interest some of you and solve a question many of us have been asking. The Cochise vest on ebay item # 250789637952 which has been listed for I believe several months as having the original patches and which we've all been putting in our own ideas...

Re: Warriors Vest_Screen Used Original Movie Wardrobe Prop

It might be a tough sale on this piece as I think a good selling figure for it would be more in the $6,000-$7,000 range based upon Profiles in History's prior sale of a similar vest plus their added buyer premium which was I believe 20%. This economy is not too kind even on such rare pieces of memor...

Re: Warriors Vest_Screen Used Original Movie Wardrobe Prop

One would wonder if there even is an original Warriors Patch remaining from the film. Pretty much these vests were put into use for other productions, so it's quite possible that the studio destroyed the patches since they were movie specific to the Warriors, and not for other films. Since the vests...

Re: Warriors Vest_Screen Used Original Movie Wardrobe Prop

I agree with ninth delegate that "at the very least" the vest/s are all original. And though I would admit to myself as a novice in this area, I have my own feelings about the patches and lettering on these vests. I would feel with the numerous (and there were indeed plenty) costumes and wardrobe us...

Re: Warriors Action Figures Complete Set Mezco on Ebay

Ohhhh, I thought he was a member, my bad. In any case it would be a nice start for the New Year in obtaining all those figures over the holiday for some lucky collector! Well looks like my holiday adventure will be watching 20 or more repetitive episodes of a Christmas Story with the family, ~You'll...

Re: Warriors Action Figures Complete Set Mezco on Ebay

Geez, that guy has quite a collection up on auction! Didn't know he was a member on the site, but I should have guessed seeing all that Warriors merchandise in one lot. I just scrolled through his other auctions and he does have some real nice vests and jackets like you said. Doe's he accept IOU's o...

Warriors Action Figures Complete Set Mezco on Ebay

Not certain as to if this was posted on the board. But just in case, there's a seller listing a complete set of 32 Warriors action figures on the ebay site presently. (No the seller is not me), I was just scrolling around the ebay site with some Holiday free time and spotted it. Just figured I would...

Best gang related film other then The Warriors

Just thought I'd run it by you folks as to your thoughts on what your other pick or picks would be for best gang related films would be. Maybe there's a film or two out there I don't know of that you folks can recommend that runs along the same theme as our favorite classic. My following two picks w...

Re: really not sure.

I had thought the possibility of a re-make had been ongoing for a few years? This possible new remake or should we call it re-take on The Warriors is supposed to take place in LA not NY. I just wonder if this will bring in a whole new slew of younger fans who did not even know of the original Warrio...

Re: Fastest Warrior

I agree with ya moonrunner27, it's probably Cochise or possibly Rembrandt as well. Only reason I'd put Rembrandt in the picture as that dude doesn't appear to be the muscle in The Warriors so he better be fast!

Re: Evil Ape Furies on ebay

So because this artist painted a yellow face with a black circle eye, and has a broken bat, your "assumption" is this artist hit a homerun on this piece. Okay I understand your opinion in that the person who created the Evil Ape Fury was paying homeage to The Warriors. But my opinion is that basical...
