that could be fun...
Yes it does. For April Fool's Day, I wanted to flag some non-profane words — such as Ajax, Swan, et. al.,— to come up with a substitute other than [bad word deleted].

Yeah, but did they ever play at CBGB's? Because that would give me the heebie-jeebies.

Re: The Worst Band Names

The Diary of Anne Frank (as a band name. I know the book is real. Amazing how she was able to write that, being blind and deaf.) if that is a Randal Graves reference, then it's VERY clever otherwise, ammo go and find a pointing-and-laughing emoticon... It's a running joke on FARK.com - any referenc...

Honestly? I'm not too pleased with being called a child. Not pleased at all.

Edit: I guess Scurvy Dog's real name is Randal Graves.
I had to wiki that to see who that even was. (It's been a LONG time since I've seen a Kevin Smith movie.)

Re: Inception

I saw it and thought it was a great flick - a real mind trip, despite Leo being in it. That said, he has matured as an actor since his "Titanic" days, much in the same way that John Cusack has matured since "Better Off Dead" (not that there was anything wrong with that film, but Cusack has grown as ...

Re: Luther is a hero

Beck did wear a brown vest throughout most of that movie... In another thread we were talking about dreams. I mentioned having had a dream when Michael Beck's character in Xanadu called James Remar's character in 48 Hours, calling him Ajax and warning him the cops had been looking for him - linking...

No, I think Ajaxes is correct. Ajaxii would be the correct plural for the singular Ajaxus, however. But there wasn't a character whose name ended in -us. Now, if the names were more closely reflective of the original Anabasis story they were based on....

Re: Warriors out of place.

I agree that they didn't expect trouble - so they didn't bring all brawlers. That much testosterone could have led to trouble. Could you imagine 9 Ajaxes? They would have gotten into a brawl along the way to the conclave. Cowboy was a little nervous in the intro, as was Rembrandt. Maybe they were ne...
