Re: Luther is a hero

I'm glad Luther shot Cyrus and blamed it on Warriors. If he didn't, the Warriors way home would be very boring, which would definitely reflect on the film.  :D Just think how many movies weren't made, because something happened the other way. or maybe there wouldn't be any film. ...

Re: What do wish would go away?

The current trend of remaking films. It used to be the exception, now it seems to be the rule.

Re: Luther is a hero

Luther was a patsy set up to take Cyrus out, then to be taken out himself. Masai set up the whole thing, and whoemever Luther was speaking with on the phone helped him do it.

Re: What do wish would go away?

well another thing i wish would go away are kids in the world cup.  i don't mind the kids holding the flags, but man i can't stand the players holding the kids hands when they walk in the field.  hugh i just can't stand those stupid noise makers people use during the world cup Vuvuzelas? Then you'd...

Re: What do wish would go away?

the illusion of choice What exactly are you suggesting? That you wish the fact that we merely THINK we have a choice would go away, and that we actually would indeed have a choice? Or are you commenting that what we have right now is the illusion of choice? I agree that it is an illusion - right no...

Re: What do wish would go away?

Political lies from both Democrats and Republicans. Both sides are deliberately keeping the public divided using fear-mongering - because they know enough voters are disenfranchised to start looking to other candidates. Third-party candidates are becoming a real threat, so politicians are turning up...

Re: Batman 3 - coming in 2012

The Penguin's also a possibility, he didn't have any 'powers', he was just a very unattractive mob boss. They could probably portray him excellently without having to change him too much to fit the universe. As much as I agree, I think Nolan specifically mentioned The Penguin as someone he wouldn't...

How about the Ventriloquist? Some schizophrenic criminal who thinks a puppet is talking to him... and carries out his orders.

Re: Batman 3 - coming in 2012

i think you'd have to dilute poison ivy a bit too much to make her palatable for Nolan's Gotham-verse. Exactly. She wouldn't be green or have powers, or anything like that. Just very skilled with plant toxins, and enough of an environmental nut job to use them. Kind of like how they didn't make Ra'...

Re: Batman 3 - coming in 2012

But we're not hear to talk about Watchmen, we're here to talk about Batman. I heard that villains like Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy would probably be too unrealistic for Nolan's version of Gotham, but I think they could definitely pull off Poison Ivy with some adjustments. If they made her a deranged ...
