Re: Coney Island Cast Reunion of The Warriors 09/13/2015

SO Deborah Van Valkenburgh just advised on her FB page that she will NOT be attending this reunion come Sept 13th. That stinks, I have been busy trying to work my way into getting a trip to NY and partake in this reunion - and was looking forward to seeing Mercy - getting a picture with her. So I ec...

Ticket collector

Ever look at the NY Train ticket collector/seller at the 4 min mark when he takes the bill from the gang member? He studies the bill - I suppose hes making sure its not counterfeit!

Re: Rest in Peace Roger Hill - Cyrus from "The Warriors"

Very sad news. What a terrific performance he gave in the brief time he occupied on-screen. HE really gave it his all, even confirming that he ad-libbed the line "Can you dig it?" That one line is probably best ascribed to the film to date. Does anyone know what he died of? Rest In Peace Roger. War...

Re: limited edition extended soundtrack

Mine came in yesterday and just looking at it now. The pics of the booklet floating around on the net are a bit deceiving as it implies that its only 4 or 5 pages long.. Not true - its well over a dozen pages long!! Some really good clear pictures (some I have never seen before) and some great inter...

LIER ONE wrote:Got mine today. If anything, the booklet is WELL WORTH IT!!! Haven't listened to it yet. Will let ya all know bout the tracks.

Great to hear - mine will be in my grubby lil' hands hopefully by early next week.

Look forward to reading your thoughts on the tracks.

Re: limited edition extended soundtrack

Looking at the individual track listing - I have the bulk of these tracks already - but am hoping the additional items are worth purchasing. The booklet sounds interesting and if anything I can throw it into my workbag and place it next to the comics for the occasional read ;) Just placed my order. ...

Re: Does anyone get the hint that the Lizzies are lesbians?

I think the 2 girls dancin together are probably dykes....or maybe these two are just mesmerizing the 3 Warriors before they shoot em up?? But they say that their dudes took the night off - so I never took them for lesbians. But the all girl gang is just a trap, a promise of some flesh just to sink ...

Jailbreak - Complete Series

Well, I have read the 4 comics and have to say that they were a real treat to read. - Some great thought put in as to how some characters progress from that iconic walk in the sunrise. I really can't wait to read the future stories, looking at the visuals, and reading the dialogue - it's an awesome ...

Miami Vice - best cop show ever! Threes Company cause it was a just a barrel of laughs, had the Regal Beagle and I loved to be around babes like Janet and Chrissy.

Re: Favorite childhood book

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish - that's a great book to get a child interested in readin.

I also liked the book Dont Care High from Gordon Korman - that guy wrote many great novels for kids.

Re: Anyone besides me

Love the 80's music still - The Cult, Duran Duran, Killing Joke, ABC, Michael Jackson, Power Stations, Arcadia, Run DMC, Simple Minds, Hall and Oates, INXS.

TO make the 80's music more interesting - I look for live versions, new remixes, cover versions and some of the mashes out there are awesome.
