Re: the Punks Weapons

Here's a question - which one of The Warriors should've nicked the lead Punks roller blades? I'm thinking Rembrandt as a final insult after the spray paint in the face Cowboy. He couldn't run far with the furies on his ass, so at least if he had skates, Snowball could tow him. LOL - good one!

Re: Bobbie Mannix's collection Part Deux!

The picture of Swan and the mechanical Cowboy makes me think that Walter Hill actually did film some scenes of Swan playing the game in the subway - just like the character Hinton does in the book. Man - do I wish that the scenes that did not make it to the film somehow miraculously sees the light o...

Yeah - The Warriors played out in 3 separate parts like LOTR. Imagine all the wool Ajax would get in 3 separate films?

Did Ajax get an extra point for terrorizing that park bench (LOL)!

Seriously though - to pull a park bench with one hand is pretty tough for me.

Should've been filmed in Florida - can't you all picture Ajax wrestling with one of them alligators as they're running away from the all girl Beach Babes gang?

Re: 30th anniversary dvd???

Ive not heard any plans, only wishful thinking from fans.  Its been released on dvd 3 times now (not including blu ray), the last release being a budget title.  I'd assume theres still a lot of copies stockpiled somewhere.  IF they did a 30th anniversary special, I would assume they would re-releas...

Re: The Warriors on Blue Ray

I havent seen a movie in Blu Ray yet - so I look forward to the image quality.

I was happy to find out that a Blu Ray player will not only play a DVD, but it will slighlyt improve the look of the DVD images as well.

Re: Walter Hill Interview - September 8, 2009

Thanks for this - one heck of a long interview and some great insights from Walter Hill.  The interviewer asked some great questions. Interesting to read that The Warriors was his most "rehearsed" movie ever, I can't really understand how that is possible with the comments floated around by Hill, Ca...
