Re: Scenes/changes you would have liked to see?

I'd be satisfied if they just inserted all of the deleted scenes and some of those scenes that appear in the trailer (you know - the Fury with the cool bat twirl, Mercer saying to the Warriors that they're the "big dudes" (or sumthin like that))  Put all of that into one continuous movie and I will...

The Warriors

Hey Warriors! As I take the train in out of downtown Toronto for work, I was surprised a couple of weeks back that some nice individual took the time to put this burner up.  The problem is that I couldn't get a good phot of it as the train picks up speed when it passes by this specific point - but ...

Re: Ajax appreciation thread.

Hell YEAH!  I am all for this thread  :) James brought that Ajax character alive fairly well - memorable performance.  I haven't seen a bad performance by him yet.  His crazy character Ganz in 48hrs comes to mind,  the tough cop role he plays in Quiet Cool, and the creepy neighbour in the movie What...

Re: Coney Island Souvenir Shops

Stillwell Station is the last stop - and you will be able to see the theme park from the train.  The theme park, the shops, are all literally 3 minutes from the train station - just across the street.  If anything, just follow the crowd as you exit the train, more than likely they are headed toward ...

Re: Coney Island Souvenir Shops

Thanks for the advice. As I am from the UK and I am not familiar with NYC, is Coney Island a safe place to go and visit? Is it somewhere I can walk around freely with my girlfriend, or are there area's to avoid? It's an ethnic mix.  This area is mainly African-American, Russian, Italian, some Hispa...

Re: Paul Greco

Aw that's sad news, he really did a god job for the limited amount of screen time aloted to his character in the movie.  I always look forward to seeing again his back and forth with Swan and Fox, and then the squabble between him and Mercy.

Re: Warriors Music Mix-Medley

Hey Nite Run - thanks for putting this together - it sounds great, especially the ever present police siren.  My other comment is that too bad you weren't able to use a faster version of the song "Nowhere To Run, Nowhere To Hide".

Good job!  8)

Re: Favourite Fight Move

My favorite moves are Swan taking out the slow-running Fury with the two-fisted shot to the gut and than another two-fisted shot to the face that topsy-turvy'd the Fury over - the Fury stuntman for that fight was fantastic! Also, can't go on without mentioning Ajax's bold stance against the head fur...

Re: Getting the book . . I have a question though

I think what was hard for me was not the writing style or the lingo - but trying to match the characters and scenes from the movie to what I was reading.  Because I was doing this, this somewhat coloured my enthusiasm for finally reading the book - so I had to go back and re-read certain portions. ...

Re: ajax's birthday

Not sure if anyone saw the SAG Awards on Sunday night, but as James Earl Jones was going thru his speech acceptance the camera did a close-up of an actor for about 3 seconds looking very much like Ajax. Yep - it was indeed James Remar - he's looking good guys. In case you missed it - check it out -...
