Re: New Warriors pushed to 2008?

Well, I am in no rush to see this remake like many of you, but hopefully, this delay will give Scott more time to do his remake properly.

Re: What i dont Understand............................

I think in the scene, there is more than meets the eye. If you look at Cleon's facial expression while he was looking down at Cyrus, it's almost like he was looking at Cyrus and saying to himself, "So you are the man eh? you were gonna run the whole city right? yeah right..look at you now big man". ...

Re: Baddest Intro/Entrance

I liked the Hi hats entrance, although mimes in New York City come a dime a dozen, seeing those freaks enter the turnstile cage and come out to the platform looked wicked. If you notice, there is a Hi Hat in the back who can't wait his turn to get in and come out, I guess he really wanted to be in t...

Re: Union Square

Well, I think a bit of reverse psychology was used here to lengthen the film. Naturally, the Warriors would go to Union Square to change trains for Brooklyn, however, this would have been the most obvious move for them. Therefore, if I am a Riff, I would not go looking for them in the most obvious p...

I read the remake will open up on Long Beach Bridge, so it'll be interesting to see how it is filmed.

Re: Something i really hate about the movie

yeah that was a sick scene, and I guess Hill did it for various reasons already posted. I always thought in that scene, that Hill was trying to show that the gangs were not the only terror on the streets in N.Y.C at the time, the cops were too, and that even if the fuzz would throw a kid onto a comi...

Re: just thought of this, kinda funny actually.

I think if Cyrus would have lived, and he was able to fulfill his dream of consolidating every gang in the Riff network, the National Guard, Army, etc. would have a serious problem trying to restore the city to normal. It would probably have been like "Escape from New York" if the gangs united under...

Re: I wish so bad...

I was a kid in those days, but I did get to see it all firsthand, living in New York City. It was electric to say the least, the movie captured the gritty dark oldschool feel of New York City at night, and then some...just to relive those days again would be amazing..wish someone would make a real t...
