Re: The Wanderers

The book is much different than the film. Not as much as the Warriors book vs. movie, but a lot different none the less. In the book, Despie is a girl that Buddy meets & gets pregnant, not Richie's girlfriend. Buddy's character is also much different in the book. The movie Buddy was based on a diff...

Re: I found 2 bloopers!!

The talking without the lips moving thing happens a lot through the film, because most of it was over-dubbed after filming. Like when they scatter of the train when Swan sees that cop, nobody's mouth is moving, I mean, realisticly, how could they talk that cleary while ruuning? And when they're runn...

Re: The Wanderers

I've read the book, but I'v never seen the film. Can anyone who's read and seen both tell me how much the book and the film parallel eachother? If the film is as sexually graphic as the book then I don't think I want to see it  Unless it has that Duckie Boys brawl that the book had. 8)

Re: Original 1979 trailer

Yea I saw it on the UDC version. They say the Furies fight didn't take very long to film, but that shot with the red fury makes me wonder what else might not have made the final cut in that fight. And I noticed they showed a small part where the Warriors stop to check out the street before they move...

Re: Other gangs at the Turnbull station

I think after Cyrus is killed the truce was still on, only the purpose had gone from taking over NYC to capturing the Warriors, so I think they were supposed let other sets on their turf, but knowing the rep they were supposed to have they probably snapped on everyone, especially after the Warriors ...

Re: The Wierdest Dream you've ever had

You ever get one of those dreams where you gotta wake up and do something but you're too tired/lazy too so you sleep for a while longer but then you get up and do what you need to do and now you're like "ahh that's over with." And THEN you wake up?!?!? I swear I get those when I gotta get up for sc...

Re: F'ing A

From what i gathered by watching other 70's flicks , that term was heavily used. I always took as a expression of suprise , approval & or dissapointment . :) Also i'm with you WC on the "yeah right" thing , i tried pulling that biznezz many of times , but people just thought i was being a rudeboy a...

Re: Gangs in the Book

I don't know about any Bopper parallels, but the Blazers are supposed to be the novel's version of the Orphans, though the book never clearly states where the Blazer's turf is, it seem s that their a hispanic gang. The Colonial Lords are the other Coney gang in the book that are rivals to the Domina...

Playstation never owned a 64 til it was already a second gen console but the WII looks like the best system to me for this gen! The light side or the dark side? Dark side.... 8) Out of these, which do you think is the worst sports scandal: 1) Ron Artest's courtside rumble 2) Zidane's ches...

Re: What is the diffrence between the old unchanged movie an

The comic book scene transitions are exclusive to the UDC and the sound and visual quality are much better than the other version. I think that's pretty much it.
