This happened to me to and I have the PS2 version. What I did was revive Cowboy when I fought the Furies as Ajax, then after the rumble was over before I walked up the stairs to fight Cobb, I saw a Cowboy clone standing next to the tree, except he had no hat and just stood there, it was creepy :lol...
