Re: Your review

Of all of the cast members that were there I was most in awe of meeting Deborah. Yes, she had played Mercy in The Warriors, but she was also Reva in Walter Hill's "Streets of Fire" which is my second favorite film by him. Interestingly, our dear DJ (L. Thigpen) played a subway motorwoman in Streets...

Re: Ever Used Any Warriors Lines In Real Life?

Came up with something today:

After doing my business in the mens' room, I get the can of Lysol, I say, "Rembrandt, mark the spot.", spray the W with the Lysol, then said, "Hey! Wait for me!".

Re: Scene at Union Square

Interesting point, 9th. Never thought about that.  Seems like when something like that happens to Walter, he wants the person out of his life and mind.  Walter seemed like a nice guy, but if you cross him, watch out.

Re: Your review

My review?  (yikes!)  Umm...  I ain't got one.  Unfortunately, I couldn't go.  Short on $$$ and parking is something I didn't want to deal with even with money, so hopefully I'm ok posting here, since I thought this was the closest thread that seemed appropriate. But I will say that I enjoyed...

Re: what warrior wud u want as a friend??

If i were in the gang, I'd see myself gravitating toward Cochise or Vermin.  Both seem supportive, which is helpful, since gang life isn't easy.  Neither was arrogant.  They seemed to go with the flow even when rumbling.

Re: What to wear to the conclave?

Doesn't look like I'm making it to Coney, but at least I'm going to the Megashow in Secaucus.  All I've got is The Warriors   ( Coney Island in small letters)  in the red gory lettering on a black T-shirt. Finances preclude me from doing both, plus I don't feel like trying to find a parking spot in ...

When ever I'm in the supermarket, I'll find something I want, see that the price is too much, and sometimes I'll say, "Faggots." (referring to the greedy people who jack up the prices)

'Sup, Bill?  You're not the first one from the movie to hook up to the forum.  Some time ago, David Patrick Kelly dropped in.  This is cool that cast, crew members, etc. are taking note of our circle.  When I met Vermin and Cochise last year, I told them about this, but I guess we have yet to hear. ...

Well Dud, when you're with your friends, you refer to the ice lollies as "popsicles" for a while, then wait for the big opportunity, but do it when least expected. 8) (To everybody):  There's a neighborhood, in Philly, where I hang out and work.  One of the electrified commuter trains is elevated th...

Re: Luther?

A spoof:

Ajax says, "What about Vermin and Cochise?"
Then Mercy stops in her tracks and a split second later, she's in Ajax's face and says, "So what about Vermin and Cochise?"

He yells, "....Vermin an' Cochise!"  Then, right after, you hear Cowboy go, "hu-u-uhhhh???"  Sounded a little like Gomer Pyle.

Re: Why didn't Swan pick up the gun?

Taking the risk of making an impertinent statement, going back some, somebody said about the Rogues out-numbering the Warriors on the beach. They still would have taken the Rogues out anyway. Harley hit the nail right on the head.  Swan's picking up the gun would have been a huge no-no. The number o...
