Re: Fox in The Thing
I don't think he has any issues with the film anymore, I'm sure looking back he's proud to of been a part of it, but he's probably still not on talking terms with Walter Hill. And Hill wasn't involved with the game, which would explain why Waites had no problems doing it, but Hill was very involved ...

Re: Who makes the Warriors' vests?
Now I'm picturing the Warriors forcing their girlfriends to work in a sweat shop, churning out vest after vest. 'Can we stop for lunch now Cleon?' 'No, keep working, and keep your mouth shut'. Yeah, if there are over 120 Warriors, that's alot of vests. But if they got them one by one, as eac...

Re: Who makes the Warriors' vests?
Good question. I've thought about this a few times before, and like you I wondered whether most of the gangs maybe got their colours from the same place, a renowned underground designer with a reputation almost as mysterious as Cyrus'. Or they could've got them from a shop that makes gang outfits on...

Re: Do you own the Warriors movie?
I own the original DVD version, the Ultimate Directors Cut DVD and a grainy VHS version I taped off the telly (ssshh! 8-[) years and years ago with the deleted boardwalk introduction :D That's what I've got. The original DVD, the so-called Ultimate Director's Cut and an old worn-out video with th...

Re: 10 Illustrated Fun Facts about The Warriors
Great post War Chief, funny stuff, observant too.
You're second point got me thinking, wouldn't it of been funny if there was a gang of Elvis impersonators in the movie? They could've been called The Hound Dogs or The Jailhouse Rockers or something like that.

Re: Why the hell did Cleon go back?
In the book, Cleon's character lives - I thought that was interesting, and he was also the first one back to Coney after the raid. Good post WildBoy. I completely forgot that Papa Arnold made it back in the book until I re-read it again recently, some of the Dominators' girlfriends say that he made...

Re: Baddest Intro/Entrance
I think it would have been kind of cool to have The Warriors run into at least one other gang on the subway ride to The Bronx. Think about it - they rode from Coney to the Bronx - 27 miles. 100 gangs attended the conclave - you would think they would have to have run into at least one other gang on...

Re: What about the rest of the Rogues?
Some on here have speculated that Luther might not of been the real leader of the Rogues. I think the Riffs probably would've known exactly who the real leader of the Rogues was and if they didn't they could've easily found out. If it wasn't Luther they would've definitely bopped down to their turf ...

Mercy vs The Lizzies
Simple question really, we all know Mercy's a 'real tough chick', but how tough do you think she actually was? For example, how d'you think she'd fare if she fought any of the Lizzies? I'm assuming she was capable of more than shoulder biting.

Re: Is it true in Europe that there are no commercials on TV?
Yeah, I think that Frosties ad is driving everyone mad at the moment. :x 'If you live in Oz mate, or the Empire State.....' Some adverts are quite funny, but the majority are just annoying. And they do have adverts in the rest of Europe, because you get those shows that are compilations of f...

What about the rest of the Rogues?
After the Riffs slaughtered Luther and his cronies on the beach, do you think they considered going to the Rogue's turf and wasting the rest of their gang? Or do you think they let them carry on as an outfit? The Riffs may of figured that the remaining Rogues knew about and supported the killing of ...

Re: Snow and Cowboy - Missing Time
Thanks guys, those are are all cool scenarios. Emissary, I like your idea of one of them having to chose between their birth family and their street family, deep stuff. And Gonzo, I loved that 'painted freaks' line. Killermime, like you I was thinking maybe they could've encountered a Riff patrol. ...
