The Warriors on Blue Ray

Post by axman »

Is phenomenal picture! Like seeing it for the first time,so crisp and clear.I just wish they would have left out the animation sequences. It totally killed the momentum when they burst out of the station and the Furies were waiting.Other than that the new Blue ray edition is awesome!

I havent seen a movie in Blu Ray yet - so I look forward to the image quality.

I was happy to find out that a Blu Ray player will not only play a DVD, but it will slighlyt improve the look of the DVD images as well.
What's the matter - goin' faggot?

I was one of those people that thought high definition was another marketing scam.I was wrong.Once you go Blue Ray,its hard to watch anything else.I also got lucky finding the warriors blue ray on sale one week at best buy for $12.99.

I may have to pick this up on blue ray if the picture quality is that much better, the PS3 playes blue ray right?

I know what you mean about the animated part killing that Furies scene, I hate the ending as well I love the original when you see them walk off into the distance to the classic 'In the City'.
Who are The Warriors, there must be some word...

Your Blu-ray player, in fact any Blu-ray player, will UPSCALE standard DVDs, too.  I don't quite understand why one would choose to view an upscaled standard definition DVD over a high definition Blu-ray disc, but to each his / her own.

anyone know if there is a 3d version out there?
I got the blu ray (which is awesome) but a real 3d one would be even better, the standard 3d effects you get from my T.V isnt as good as a proper 3d Blu ray

We will never see an up-conversion to 3D cause it will cost the studio too much and the profit will be too little. It would be cool tho!

Im prettysure someone (non studio) could do it, there is 2 main types of 3d and they both split the picture in 2, maybe someone with good editing skills could copy the style with the warriors? I wish it was, seeing bat up the ass popsicle action in 3d would be amazing :)
