Affiliates.

Just wondering if anyone can clear something up for me and give a clear definition of what exactly an "affiliate" is in the movie. Are affiliates guys who are wanting/waiting to join a gang, other gangs or something else? Any info would be appreciated.

This is a loose definition; however, an affiliate is anyone that has any asscociation with the gang without being a full member, but that can generally be counted upon for at least some degree of loyalty

In an MC, you can also have hang-outs, who, as the name implies, hangs around with members in a non-official capacity

Compare this to a Prospect, who is attempting to gain membership - they are generally identifed by having only the bottom rocker (with a state designation), but no center patch or top rocker
