I think that 3rd question is just a little bit too speculation-based...you could say Ajax would be an astronaut...but maybe I'm just not good at that kind of thing is probably why I think that.
I agree that most of them would just grow up and realize that they won't be able to do that forever, and have to move on and get real jobs, although the less deep ones probably would stay in as long as possible, just because they know no other life. and more new members would come and the Warriors would carry on until guns and drugs entered the gang scene, which if they stuck to old ways they'd probably get killed off and taken over or if they adapted and managed to keep the values they had before, might make it strong...although i dont think any kind of values let you survive long in "gang life" nowadays
But the thing is, the gangs from then seemed to depend more on quality over quantity, and the attributes of every single member working together, rather than what I've seen now, a system of generally "weak" (loosely used here) people working together to get things done, simply joining the gang to be accepted and because they're too "weak" (same use) to make any kind of waves on their own, the Warriors seemed more about brotherhood and teamwork, and none of them were complete nimrods, even if they were short of change in common sense.
but you know....opinions are like assholes....(should i have [bad word deleted] the a-word..?)

^ I totally agree. That's speaking out of logic, not far-fetched speculations.

Deep Thinker Questions
As the 70s became the 80s the theme about gangs caring only about turfs and territory, and using kicks and punches and batts to go to war changed into handguns and ak-47 and how much dope you had, the warriors would have dissapeared like every other gang that existed in the time and space of the warriors. You see that talks about a better type of gang war a gangwar were drugs and guns didnt matter,a better time maybe more inocent time were gangs used colorfull jackets and turfs to stand out.A time were wars werent fought with guns and bombs. They were fought with their bare knuckles and batts and brute strenghts.ANd it wasnt about killing every gangmembers you see (just wrecking them).
Today iwould see those seven warriors very differently. Many of them dead, like ajax in a rumble or snow helping others ending dead.A gangmembers life isnt easy.Others old like cochise working on low life jobs as in the underground or in a supermarket or in the coney island amusement park. Now theres one or two i have the hope that the y left the gangmember life behind, left coney even and made a new one leaving the warriors way behind ,starting a family.Like swan or remmy.
Also the ones that suffered to much and ended drug addicts or alcoholic like maybe cowboy or vermin.

im gonna shove that batt up your ass and turn you into a popsicle!!
Re: Deep Thinker Questions
they would either stay till someone does them in or leave because there to old to fight. probely end up living in some crack den in conie during all this the warriors would change from the 70's gang style to the current more boring as fuck gangs that inhabit newyork today or maybe even just faling apart because of an inability to keep up with the newer way of running things.

Re: Deep Thinker Questions
I believe that life does not have a fairytale ending. The point of the movie says that we live in a cold, scary, miserable, and unforgiving world. A world were if we do not get our acts together,we loose ourselves in its turmoil. We really do not know the warriors past and what kind of men they really are. So its hard to say if they take their futures seriously. Yes, in the end they made a name for their selves, and showed that they are not just a bunch of low lives who waste space. They are men with pride that can survive in this dark abyss of hell, we call a world. After such a disaster, I believe that they survived the journey to answer their own question, of "is this life worth living in?" The end shows that "yes, there are things in this world worth living for." I believe someone like Swan realizes this, thats why he says "maybe I'll just take off." Even if he does take off, I don't believe life just gets easier. Life is always testing us, thats why we are put through tests, so we can make wise decisions. My point is, that yes
Re: Deep Thinker Questions
sorry, i submitted my post by accident while I was typing, so I'll finish.
My point is, that we cannot live through life being arrogant, because if we do, everything will crash down on us. So although the warriors have all this power and glory, nothing is forever. Its alright to e an outcast in life. but not a creature who feeds off of it. The ending shoes that there is more out there, so I should move on and be the best that I can be, if I don't I will regret it. So first I pick Swan. I believe Swan is the type of man who feels that maybe he should let a woman get close to him, maybe she will complete his life. So I figure he gets a simple job along with her, like a substitute teacher. Believe me, the reason I say substitute teacher is because, you should see the idiots that easily get that job. I figure that him and Mercy go their separate ways. Hopefully she finds someone that will make her feel she is somebody. A woman of intelligence, and not ignorance. Maybe Cochise becomes a security guard a high school, or Vermin works for the garbage of sanitation. Cowboy becomes a bus driver, and I still believe Snow is a man of mystery. I think he moves to the country side were its not noisy, and lives a life of seclusion, and always contemplates on his life. I always believed that Rembrandt, realizes he can do better and goes to college. Maybe he becomes a youth worker and wants to give back to the community. As for Ajax, he always symbolizes the man who has no hope. A man who in some way ends up back in jail for good. I believe that they all live a small quiet life, in which they always wondered how far they could have pushed themselves if they really wanted to. That on certain nights they relive the Big Meeting in their heads and always remember the people they used to be, and always will be.
Who knows. Maybe it becomes much worse. They gain power for a little, bit and realize that gang life is the only path and destiny for them. That they are the warriors and will die a warrior. Maybe life goes crashing on them, and they either end up dead, in jail, or die from a drug overdose, not knowing what they want in life. Just like the black panthers or guardian angles, there are still members spread around the world. Maybe they do not have that same feeling that gang first represented, but will always keep on the name in honor. Maybe the new warriors of the future will adapt to todays standards, and try to actually make a difference. Hopefully the future warriors will reach out to the world and make a difference. Whatever path the warriors take, they will realize that spark, and enigmatic spirit of there mind, heart, and soul, will live on forever. I believe life will always test them, in whatever direction they take, so lets hope they choose wisely. Theres no telling what will happen to these people, but no matter what the essence of The Warriors is eternal.

Re: Deep Thinker Questions
Swan would have moved to the country with Mercy to get away from the city and to maybe raise a familyWar Chief wrote: 3. What would their characters (not the actors) be doing in 2004?
Vermin and Cochise would be living together as bachelors and party a lot, working at fast food joints
Ajax would be a trainer at a local gym and maybe find a girl to start a long-term relationship with
If Fox had lived, I could see him going on to teach high school algebra
If Cleon had lived, maybe he and Lincoln would settle down and start a family, or at least get married
Cowboy would become a journalist, writing for a magazine or newspaper. Or maybe even become a DJ on a country music station (X3)
Rembrandt would get married, raise a family, and illustrate children's books. (It's just something I could picture him doing)
Snow could become a DJ, seeing as she was in charge of the music at the conclave, or maybe even write about his gang experiences and publish it.
