I wouldnt... for me it's like the remake. Same name, diferent story, characters, actors, mood...
But I think that a lot of the fan fiction I read on this forum would make a great commic book, or even cartoon.

I wouldn't like a television series because it wouldn't be the same without the original characters, but I'd probably enjoy a comic book.

I think a graphic novel would be great, encompassing the formation of the gang, the time leading up to the conclave meeting, going into more details of the night the movie took place and what became of the nine from that night. I complete story all in one.

Yeah thats a good idea, it would be cool if they got Sol Yurick to write it for them but im not sure if hes dead or not, i have one of his older books, its weird nothing like i thought it would be. he could probolly do a great graphic novel, any ideas on which artist you would want to draw it? i bet Todd Macfarlen could draw a mean baseball fury but im not sure ide want him for the jobHarley wrote:I think a graphic novel would be great, encompassing the formation of the gang, the time leading up to the conclave meeting, going into more details of the night the movie took place and what became of the nine from that night. It would only be good if it was made around the same time as the movie and starred all the original cast.

A Warriors TV Series??
Interesting concept. It would have to be cast well cause nobody seems to bale to get over the fact that the oroiginal cast isn't all there or are much older now. Might be hard to sell a network on a weekly series where a gang, which is a negative thing, is the featured star. Of course considering the crap I've seen them put on The Warriors series might work?!

idk
i wouldn't really want to see a t.v version. It would have been good if they made a sequell to the warriors a year or two after the first - jus to see what became of the members, the turf , the rival fight's , the leadership line.
one thing we might get outa cyris little get together is meeting some strange wool - AJAX

A Warriors TV Series??
well, unfortunately, it already happened.
about 2, or 3 yrs. after the warriors came out.
when they played the movie on tv, on abc, to be exact!
they saw how popular the movie was, when they aired it, real quick they tried to capitalize on the popularity.
i think they're were a total of 2 episodes. LOLOL
it was called "The Renagades"
the swan role, was played by Patrick Swayze!!!
which i guess wasn't the worst choice in the world.
my only problem with Patrick Swayze is, i can never get past that line he said in "Dirty Dancing".........
"Nobody Put's Baby In The Corner!" LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
to this day, i still don't know how he said that line with a straight face!!!
can ya just picture it, when they were making "dirty dancing"?
"you want me to say what??????" LOLOLOLOL
"who wrote this garbage!"
oh, and BTW, this is another forum waste of space, thanx to non-use of the search!!!

A Warriors TV Series??
I don't agree with there beeing a tv series of the Wariors as like many of you have said it wouldn't have the original cast in it, although I wolud gwatch it. A good thing they could do but may not work is make 3 or 4 40 mins episodes after the remake where it shows you what happened before the meeting and what happened after the meeting.

The last episode would be like when they go to the bronx and it would keep getting a "to be continued..." until the reach coney
I wanna play a role in there as a Lizzie!! Or the candy store girl. I'm too young to play Mercy.
