WARRIORS are coming out to play!

well tonight the night (1/27/2006 and weekend)
im heading to the CROWNE PLAZA in MEADOWLANDS here in NEW JERSEY.
Looking Foward in meeting SWAN & MERCY...im suprised i havent heard much on this thread about who (if any) are attending this show over the weekend..doesnt anybody from this site intersted in meeting some of the cast?
anyway, ill be there with my WARRIORS LP and METZCO SWAN FIGURE (MOC) to be signed..and have a few questions id like to ask them of course. if anybody else is attending, let me know....
if anybody is intersted, ill let you know how it went..and maybe some pictures to post..if i can figure out how to do that.
too bad no more other WARRIORS cast will be there (forgot IRWIN KEYES..
cop who nails AJAX in stomach...@#*#in' wimp..he will be there).
but looking foward to it none the less.
too bad i havent heard much feedback from this site on this WARRIORS event..hope there would be more interest coming from this site...

hey BOPPERS,
just got let you all know the meet/greet i had with MICHAEL BECK and DEBERAH VANVOLKENBURG & IRVIN KEYES...

well, arrived at CROWNE PLAZA SECAUCUS NJ on SAT. (1/29/2006) early.
first up MR KEYES (BAD COP #1 ..cop who hits AJAX w/ night stick)..man, what a nice man! he was very proud of his moment in WARRIORS..i mentinoed to him , i always liked his reaction after he hits AJAX..and his eyes lite up and said "you always have to make the best of your scenes"
and he wanted the audience to see what he can do, with a small part like that..something that would stick in their minds, and his reaction after the fact, made it work.
KEYES signed my WARRIORS soundtrack LP...and was impressed with the old vinyl! he signed it along with "BAD COP #1" and i also confirmed with him the location of this scene....told me, shot in two nights it was 125th street and RIVERSIDE (north) w/exsisting bench...

MICHEAL BECK...no shit, looked just like he did when he did the WARRIORS except grey hair...same build, same hair style...
BECK signed my MEZCO ACTION FIGURE (on bubble)..first i asked him to go back into charactor for a brief moment, and have him write SWAN as if he would write it on a wall or something (graffitti style) then his signature below that..came out perfect! He also signed LP.
and so all should know...i asked him about location for final scene, as they walk off the beach...it was for sure JONES BEACH!! not CONEY!

DEBORAH VanVALENBURG...looked great!! same beautiful hair, shes pretty hot! and i think i did the classiest and one of a kind move...before the show, i went to a local florist and bought her a FIVE YELLOW ROSE CORSAGE (like the one dropped by the PROM COUPLE) first thing i do is hand her the corsage..she actually says (like the film) WHATS THIS FOR?..im like, "its for you, i hate seeing anything go to waste" she breaks out this big smile, and turns to BECK..."MICHEAL look he gave me a corsage, like the movie"...BECK (who knew about it ahead of time) was like "I know, i was in on it...didnt want anything go to waste" as the both laughed.
she really like that man, ....gave me a big smile and asked my name..."that was so sweet of you JOE!"... made my day.
so she signs my LP "from a really tough chick.." signature w/MERCY

sorry no pictures...but i did record all on my DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER...if possible, i can send the footage to THE WARRIORS MOVIE SITE here, on a DVD+RW disc...if you can download to the site, for all to see i will send this footage...let me know..

that is such an incredible story!!! i am really envious!!! how wonderful that you got to go and meet MB & DVV. that was a pretty neat idea about the corsage too!! i hope War Chief can put the video on here for us to watch, it sounds like you had a great time!!

i edited it together last night, with some graphics and of course some WARRIOR Soundtrack music...i was a little suprised that there were not as many WARRIORS fans there as i thought....although i did get there early, and was outta there once i met them...
most of the attention at this show was for PETER BRADY (CHRIS KNIGHT, and his porno babe).

nah, i didnt really talk about 'where the other WARRIORS were, and if they've kept in contacted..guess they are M.I.A!!

although i think SWAN & MERCY keep in touch, every now and again..

how much time did you have to chat with them?  were you in a long line and rushed along, or was it like people milling about in a big room and being able to go up to the cast and chat without a time limit???
