yes i agree, if ajax would have sat and talked with her, 'hey nice night tonight, blah blah blah....well i gotta go"  he could have walked away, like he should have done in the first place!  but he wasn't there for conversation, and she wasn't there for a date!

She was a female cop who happened to be assigned to acting vulnerable, and possibly available target in the park.     
Horney had nothing to do with anything, except Ajax himself, and if he would have kept it under control and KEPT on walking---he wouldn't have ended up cuffed and stuffed.

He would have been locked up regardless of his moves on her.  Yes, he mauled her like a circus bear gone wild, but even if he was gentle, he would have been cuffed.  At that time, the police were after all gangs.  Anybody wearing colors would have been taken down if confronted.  The female cop's way of taking Ajax down obviously worked.

Honestly? I think she was simply what she appears to be. An undercover cop ignoring a few too many entrapment rules, Ajax ruined it by ignoring the command of Swan, not for being too rough.

The cops were out to get all the gangs in the city after the meeting so the park would be a prime target for them and as the woman cop was a woman (no offence to any women on the site I thouroughly enjoy women;) 8)) she would not fancy her chance against a gang of dangerous men so she lured them into a trap.

Ajax was in his element in the Furies scene and you feel really good for him for saving Cowboy's *** before it happens.
But once Ajax is arrested it creates a tense atmosphere as the warriors lose their best fighter.

The BRAVE lady cop was there for one reason, to bust anyone from a gang. Some of the comments I read previously were pretty senseless and showed the immaturity that plagues the majority of the guys. She wasn't asking for anything sexual. This is what "You want to show me how you play with chicks" sounds like to a woman: A sloppy kiss!", to a man? (actually to a boy, being that Ajax was probably 19): " Boob grabbing, sloppy kissin', ripp the buttons off the blouse, etc. I don't think she was expecting that reaction from Ajax. Regardless if he had been rough or gentle, he still would of gotten arrested, that was her job. His immaturity shows throughout the whole film, in comparison with Swan. He was going to fall sooner or later. Whoever said the comment about "she was a horny ?" Its guys like you that ruin it for the rest of us! Excuse the ape that escaped the zoo ladies!

](*,) ](*,) ](*,)  she was an undercover cop!  read the credits!  probably working vice and didn't have info about the big meeting.  if so, she would have immediately told her back up that she saw 3 more gang members heading out of the park.  because ajax was so violent he probably got the book thrown at him, assaulting the police, resisting arrest, and any other charges they could think of.
