I think you have the whole movie confused with one line in the deleted opening scene.
because I noticed it too during One line in the deleted opening scene at the dock when Cleon is picking the 8 deligates.

Ajax, the hardest, most believeble warrior....beautiful and yet shady...he is in fact a miracle genious of thug brawling and just plain sexy!!

Absolutely agree with Space Toaster about the gap in the teeth, the remake stands to acheive the same feeling I get when I see James Remar as Ajax on screen...swearing, one tracked and muscley as ever... we all have to admit "the chicks like all those muscles!"

The only time he sounded russian to me was in the deleted daylight scene when he says*thatl just slow us down*. And i think that was one of those missed vocal tone problems a lot of us have sometimes, i know it has happened to me.

I'm a Russian and I would know if he sounded like one, which he didn't.The reason his voice changed in the game from the movie was because the movie was made a long time ago, James Remar got older with age and his voice changed when the game made.
