The opening scene until the gathering starts is the next best part. The music rules and all the gangs show themselves....

I like how the gun that kills Cyrus changes hands, and all of the Rogue members pass the gun; it truly symbolizes the involvement of the entire gang in this crime and not only Luther who actually pulls the trigger. That was a very nice detail in the film.

adios,

THat's a tough one because this film has so many darn great scenes and moments. But here's a few that I especially like...

After Mercy says "so who stopped ya" to The Orphan's leader, and he quickly looks at Swan to see if Swan is checking him out, which Swan is.

Mercy on the subway tracks trying to explain herself to Swan, when she gets a little desperate and says "you get it Warrior, huh?"

The look on Snow's face as the train pulls away from The Turbo AC's.

Swan, trying to recover from a momentary bout of feeling, saying to Mercy, "You're just part of everything that's happening tonight. And it's all bad."

Vermin answering Cowboy's "those cats didn't look too chicken s**t to me" with "Me either," great look on his face!

Ajax's "so what about you?" to Mercy.

Great exchange:
Swan: "Maybe we oughta pull a train on you. You look like you might even like it."
Mercy: "F**k you!"

Rembrandt looking suspiciously at the goings-on while "Love Is A Fire" starts at the jukebox at the Lizzie's place.

And of course, the exchange between Vermin, Cochise and Snow which begins with Vermin's, "Big Cyrus, he was gonna run the whole city...."

Oh man, I can go on and on!
Big Cyrus. He was gonna run the whole city...what crap that was.

I know they probley didn't want cops on them while they were going to the meeting but it looked so funny watching him put tokens in the turnstile.
LOL I always thought the same thing! I guess gangs were nice and paid instead of hopping the turnstile, because don't forget in the deleted scenes, One of the duties Cleon gave Vermin was "tokens!" Of course now it'd be Metrocard....

I dont know why, but i always seem to piss myself when one of the Lizzies gets a chair hit over her head. i also find it hillarious when they are all disappointed and curse themselves when Rembrant, cochise and Vermin leg it and get away. Just goes to show, dont get a women to do a mans job. im sure the other gangs would have wasted them in that position

I obviously like the stroll down the beach at the end.  You see in a world that is filled with misery and decay that makes you crazy, you feel that there is no more hope left in this dark abyss of hell.  We find our selves striving for a better life, and can't seem to reach our goals.  Everyday we wake, we live in a bad nightmare that we can't seem to wake up from, and to make matters worse people are dumb, always panic, and are very pushy.  They will stomp on you any chance you get, and have no sympathy.  We often rather just kill ourselves because we  feel that there is no point of dealing with life.  We also have our own personal demons that we can't seem to get rid of no matter how much we decide to face our fear.  There can never seem to be a moment of salvation, and clarity in a dieing world, but yet when that seen on the beach comes on, you can't help but have a feeling of hope.  That believe it or not everything will actually be alright.  So weather you are dealing with a sickness, a bad habit, or any other personal demon, you like up at that sky and say "I know there is something better."  No one is going to bring me down.  So weather your sitting on your roof in a disgusting ally way, or in a bus sitting with miserable people looking out the window, all you do is look up, listen to the "in the city" lyrics in tour head as you look up at the heavens.  You than have a feeling of peace and comfort, thinking that this is my dirty city, and I will make the best of things in a confusing world.  You than some hoe feel enlightened with yourself.  This is why I love this beach scene.

I agree with adam88, I love it when theyre all just walking, walking and the song.. I love that song so much its just total relief after such a night.

I like the beginning as well with the Wonder Wheel... just stare at it turning...

I think my favourite part would have to be when the three escape from the Lizzies. When Cochise is reasuring Rembrandt and Rembrandt sounds like he's about to cry.. I love it, it's as if theyve all reached the end of their tether and they cant take any more. Rembrandt even admits it, he thinks theyre not gonna make it, but Vermin tells him theyll make it all the way home. I love it man, I love it.

I'm breaking the rules here a bit but not too much to get banned for...I enjoy watching the end after Mercy has her moment with the prom couple and then the next shot is the sunrise, and the scene of Coney Island along with the mysterious music that is similar to that of the beginning...it makes the scene look so magical because they've haven't only just experienced so much [bad word] that night that it makes it hard to believe that these guys have actually made it home while almost all of NY was after them (they didn't make it home completely safe since they've encountered along the way)...however as it has been said that the music in the beginning makes the movie mysterious it also makes that scene mysterious because you wonder what will exactly happen next now that we've come back to Coney Island

I also like the scenery of when they get off the train...yes they came all the way back home but just for that!...its as if they were trying to keep alive just to get back to the Hamptons or Beverly Hills...something that should be worth keeping your life for...but thats the way it is for them to get back somewhere thats worth to them

and I must say that the crew did a great job with that scene with the Rogues...the gun is passed from one Rogue to another and finally unto Luther who gives this extraordinary smerk that spells out trouble from this guy

and yes the "warriors come out to playyyy" part is also a good one not only because Luther says that famous line however I like the way the Warriors are lined up dirty and looking at this guy as if he's lost his mind...as if to say "we've gone thru all that stuff the night before now we gotta deal with this nut and his demented crew in the hurse...goodness give me a break!!"...and they did get their break

Favourite fight part: The Baseball Furies chase/bat fight. Kick arse.
Favourte non-fight part: When Swan and Mercy are on the train near Coney and
they run into the prom dates - Mercy feels unattractive cos she's covered in bruises
and scrapes and her hair is a mess - she goes to groom herself but Swan pulls her
hand down as if to say 'Dont change for them, you're fine the way you are'. I love that
part - its the soul of the film and you understand Swan a lot more.

Favourite character: Radio DJ.

I dont feel bad - those bitches had it coming. Its the oldest trick in the book - the black widow - note how the Lizzys use the girl on girl dance to lure the Warriors into a false sense of security. The Lizzys were cunning and smart
enough to know the risk of taking on the Warriors in a fight.
