From what i gathered by watching other 70's flicks , that term was heavily used.
I always took as a expression of suprise , approval & or dissapointment .
Also i'm with you WC on the "yeah right" thing , i tried pulling that biznezz many of times , but people just thought i was being a rudeboy as well

You also hear it in the movie Aliens. So apparently they say it in the future also :badgrin:
