who is luther talking to?

I think the lizzies sound like a good answer to my question. Luther says that they can meet them at union street station "platforms probably crawling with cops" so they send the girls...."chicks like you always got dudes"...."they took the night off, went up to the bronx"......soft voiced luther? it's gotta be a chick, I think luther only does stuff for himself....

There's only one way to solve this. All of those who have gotten copies of the script comment on this. I am sure there's something there that indicates who the hell is Luther talking to.

i agree, i always thought that the rogues were the lizzie's dudes. i can just picture luther and his motley crew having lizzy girlfriends.

The Rogues are from the Bronx and The Lizzes are on 104th street in Manhatten

They heard about the shooting like everyone else on the radio.

It's easy to see why the rest of the Lizzies didn't take her to the station with them to entice Vermin, Cochise and Rembrandt. If they had, there's no way Vermin, Cochise and Rembrandt would've gone with them. Infact, they probably would've turned and ran, all the way back to Coney.

Luther was talking to a member of the Rogues who was higher up the chain then he was, perhaps the real leader, who for whatever reason couldn't make it to the meeting. Why else would he feel he needed to "check in." Perhaps Luther was second in command and just took matters into his own hands by shooting Cyrus. Besides, he "liked doing things like that."

While it wouldn't surprise me that Luther was talking to a woman, probably one he is NOT very close to yet and is trying to impress, hence all the weird information about it being a real mess, this guy called Cyrus ect. ( If he was actually talking to any other gang -they would KNOW who Cyrus is)

BUT I don't for one second think that Luther or the Rogues have any connection what so ever to the Lizzies--
I think the Lizzies stand on their own, and they listen to the radio--they would have known as much about taking down the Warriors for the Riffs as the Turnbulls or Punks or Furies---they were in the right place at the right time and took their shot.

they wouldn't have given Luther or the Rogues the time of day---NOT a chance.
That is my own opinion---but I would never believe that any of them would even talk to Luther over the phone or any other way---NOT the same type or in the same class at all!!!
