Why is this movie never on TV???

Not once have I ever seen this movie on TV,like HBO,Showtime,Cinemax.I have it on TV i just wanna now why its never on TV??

Its been on Tv but it has been on Spike Tv.

I have been wondering the same thing to.  As of what I saw, it came on ounce on spike tv in 2003 in the afternoon, and two nights in a roll at night again on spike tv during the summer of 2005.  And like you said, it does get edited.  I mean when you see Ajax get hit by that cop, you just see him go down, and Snow and Cowboy arrive late, and they skip him saying "fu***g wimp" but all in all it never is really shown amazingly.

Well I have seen it on Spike, Bravo and Telemundo.  However the Telemundo verison is dubbed in Spanish.  I wanted to recorded but I cought the end,  it looks funny to watch Swan or Rico (yup they change their names, although the credits say Swan) and the gang speak spanish.  I am also surprised they didn't play salsa as the background music.

(Loco)- Sin Razon, me gusta hacer esas cosas.

Translation:

Swan- Why'd you waste Cyrus?

No, not on cable, but they did put the movie on a mexican channel, on channel 2, and i watched the warriors for the 1st time in spanish....yeah!! 8)

Did they have pretty much the same names, or did they have to change some of them for names that don't translate well into Spanish? For example, isn't "Vega" Spanish for Fox, if I remember correctly? (And if I'm wrong, keep in mind it's been 20 years since I've studied Spanish.)

No,lol, fox in spanish mean zorro. All of their names were like the original except for swan, his name was ganso, cowboy, vaquero,cochise was cochado, or cochidol.. i cant remember clearly, and i think fox name was zorro.. and all the names stayed like the original, but with spanish accent....yeah!! 8)

oh yeah vega from street fighter  . Well vega is a last name , but vergas means somethings is cool 8)
ex: LA PELICULA DE LOS WARRIORS ESTA VERGAS!! .. . And if someone has watched dbz in spanish, the guy that played the voice of goku plays the voice of swan, and the others were spoken by different actors, though they somewhat screwed up sometimes...piratones!!

speaking of street fighter, its funny because Balrog was gonna Byson, Byson was gonna be Vega, and Vega was gonna be Balrog. I know it confusing, but since Balrog is a boxer an Byson sounds similar like mike tyson, they changed it so they would not be sued.  Sorry I am going off topic, just thought I would add it.

On the subject of how other countries interpret films, its funny how when Godzilla 1985 came out, the Japanese version interpreted the Russians as heros, but the American version interpreted them as enemies, its amazing how things can change in translation.
