Fox a hero?

Post by stevo2k6 »

what you guys reckon when fox tells mercy to run when the cop dives on him (forgetting that tom waites left) he didnt seem tough would you think he would have had a better chance telling mercy to attack the cop or would have got them all in front of the train

Fox is not really one of the gang's brawlers, he brings other skills outside of fighting to the Warriors. At best, he'd only be an average fighter, and an average cop would be stronger, fitter and better trained than an average gang member, and they would be used to taking down people like Fox.

I think he figured that he was screwed, but there was no point letting Mercy go down with him, so told her to run just to save her from being arrested or killed. So yeah, I do think Fox is a hero.

No doubt he's a hero.  I mean he barely knew Mercy, to tell her to run.  better yet, he even took her hand, concentrating on her well being instead of sticking with the pack.  I mean on the cops point of view, he was just a lowlife looking out for another lowlife.  But on our perspective, he was a man who did not judge other individuals, showing that he's a man who values the existence and essence of life.  So he left this world, as an extraordinary human being.

He knew he was trapped by the stocky cop - he not only ssays "RUN!", but as a forethought, he tells her "JUST GET OUT OF HERE!".  Mercy was going to help him, but she heeds his word.

One of the best scenes in the film with them running through the train platforms away from the cops, I hate it that they lost FOX here.
What's the matter - goin' faggot?

Very good point. If anybody else here was in his position what would you have done? Run to safety with the rest of your friends... Or ditched a prostitute so you and your friends could all get away safely. Bare in mind you knew her a couple of hours at the most.
