Gotta get me one of them fancy HDTVs! Valley Girl is a pretty good movie. Great music too; The Plimsouls, Sparks, The Psychedelic Furs, etc.. I saw that 80s classic Hardbodies the other night .

Oh yeah Valley Girl is definitely a good movie, and Nick Cage was great in it, before he came lame. I always thought the girl who was in the bedroom upstairs with the blonde boyfriend of the main Valley Girl (who Cage liked) was very hot. And yeah, EXCELLENT soundtrack!

Another great 80's youth movie with a great soundtrack is The Last American Virgin. What an amazing ending :(. Took balls not to give it the typical Hollywood ending.
Big Cyrus. He was gonna run the whole city...what crap that was.

yeppers, on all accounts. that chick upstairs in the bedroom scene, is named e.g. dailey, and she is the voice of tommy pickles on the rugrats. ( sorry got kids!!) and the last american virgin was another great 80's movie. (nice guys always take it in the shorts don't they!) he shoulda beat that dude "rik" into the ground! how many of us thought we were learning about sex with all those 80's teen sex flicks? there was about a million!

The next big thing to come out will be blu-ray BD-ROMs later this year which aim to replace DVD's, and is reportedly the next generation disc for the PS3. They can hold up to 50GB in dual layer (and a 100GB disc is in development). This means higher quality movies / sound and/or longer movies on a disc. The Warriors may get a whole lot better ...http://www.blu-ray.com

1st dvd I bought was Twister and I got it before I even got the dvd player (in 98). Had to see what they looked like and still is one of the best.

Now it looks like I'll have to pick this up now before I get the blue ray.

I'm pretty sure Blu-Ray is more Hi-Def.
