Because when Cochise asks where their 'dudes' are, they say that they're lame and they're up in th Bronx, so either shes lying or they do have 'dudes'.

The Warriors had chubbys in their pants, and their smarts went from their brains to down there. Really, they walked like idiots into that trap(save for Rembrandt, who seemed suspicious of it all).
Besides, these guys assume any chicks on the streets are wrenches or gals of soldiers.....without ever calculating the possibility that those women could be soldiers themselves. Which is why the Lizzies almost were able to whack the Warriors.
They always say that theres nothing like a womans scorn. Theres something about a womans essence that makes the most smartest men mentally weak. Since this movie was made in the 70's, the womens movement just got stronger. So the Lizzies were a gang on a totally different level than the other gangs. I always thought of them as more of the mental challenge of this adventure. I originally stated that the prom couple scene was the mental challenge, but the Lizzies scene is as well. The whole female empowerment of the Lizzies just made the warriors stupid. The power of a woman can be a mans Krptonite at times, which in my opinion is true.

Didnt you see the part of my post that said "either shes lying..." ? If not, yeah I have heard of the concept of "A Lie", which the Lizzie MAY have been doing, but chances are they did have guys 'cause, not to be sexist, I'm sure most teams could easily run over the top of the Lizzies if they never had a problem with hitting women, so they would probably need some muscle from guys.

Well again, why would they need guys?
With that logic, the Orphans need "real" guys to keep them from being pushed around as the wimps that they are.
Its not about sexism, its about strategy, and being armed with blades/firearms. Not to mention numbers.
The Warriors escape their clutches because of a Lizzie with an absolutely lousy eyesight for accuracy.
