First off, I just want to thank the 'War Chief' for actually listening to the feedback and taking into account our opinions. I can definately appreciate the way you've handled this situation. I apologize for the disrespectful tone of the first post.
I just don't think that the forum is a very 'welcoming' place as is. It feels like we have to impress you with our posts, rather than just saying what we feel like saying. I also don't like the bridge gap between the 'vets' and the new comers. I think it's fair to have equal respect for every poster.

I don't know about "impress" any one specifically---but if you ever went through and read the posts that used to read:
"Warriors Rule"
or some other 1 or 2 word or 3 word piece of ???? that did NOT say anything but the poster was trying to get up in rank---you wouldn't be so quick to feel like that. those kinds of nothing posts make for a poor discussion place. What the forum is looking for is people who do say what they mean, and actually communciate something to the rest of us--be it opinions or ideas, or impressions-just so long as it makes some sense to everyone---it is the posters that just waste space that make us all quite a little defensive. If that feels unwelcoming, sorry, but life gets like that sometimes---I love this forum, and am here quite a bit--and I try not to post crap or be personally disrespectful, mostly, I have faith that the posters know what they are talking about, and sometimes it is hard to maintain that faith.
I feel most of us respect anyone who actually says something, and are more or less open to entertaining new view pointss--and who brings something of themselves to the forum---makes for a better place and much better discussions. And I am glad that the WarChief and the Mods keep order and structure to the place so that it only needs to get cleaned up once in a while.

I think you should sort who can and can not post since all the dodgy stuff started. Id look at peoples posts and go by what people are talking about, as it is true, this forum/website is for us to talk about and share things about this film, not to have cross words between each other. I have enjoyed this forum and i hope im making worthy posts, i missed being able to post in our 'usual' forum.
I know they're on my ass.... but now they know I know it!

as much as everyone(me included) hates this, it needed to be done so the spammers/fakes would leave. there were dudes who made all sorts of nonsensical posts just to boost their post count up(this why i think post count are lame).
i'm hating it but i understand why the others felt this had to be done. oddly enough i think i was one of the first people to suggest it, actually i wanted to make you all take a warriors test in order to even join the site.
besides if you really like the movie and are a true fan, you should have no problem contributing and adding to the discussions in this section. if/when they feel you "made your bones" i'm sure they'll grant you access to all the sections.

It's about being able to trust peopl.
We have been back 3 days and some members have been posting more then the six stated in the rules.
One person has posted 44 times in less then 24 hours.

i did not know there was a rule to how many times you can post? i just don't get it? if were discussing the film and making real posts, what does the number of posts have anything to do with anything? The Fox wrote:It's about being able to trust peopl.

as far as the 44 posts in 24 hours guy, thats a bit excessive, but it just doesn't seem fair to the guys hare who actually love the film and want to talk about it.
if someone's making retarded short posts like, "i agree" or the best one i saw before the boards got locked, "GH" i totally understand you guys enforcing the rule but its seems sort of strange to set a maximum number of posts, especially if you know someone is truely down for the warriors.
then again, this isn't my site and i think i just hit my 6 post limit for the day so i'll be going now. :p
Feedback.
The reason we limit is if 700+ members posted 20 times a day that would be over 14,000 posts a day.
I would not enjoy the forum at all and i'm sure nobody else would

i agree.
seriously, i didn't think of it like that. and seeing as i'm not a mod(man that job would truely suck), i see your POV and will abide by the rules.....or just PM people my thoughts instead of posting them like is hould've done here.

Well, this 100 post thing kind of sucks, but it's not my forum. So, there's no point for me to argue. Everyone's gotta pay their dues. I'll think of this like an "initiation." You gotta earn your vest, if you know what I mean.
All us new members are the new blood, and we gotta earn our place in the heavy set that is the Warriors Movie Site forum community. So, I'll serve out my time, knowing it'll be worth it when I'm allowed to post on the rest of the forum.
