I highly recommend the La Quinta Inn in Midtown, its about 1-2 blocks from the Empire State Building. We got a nice room with its own bathroom for 139 a night. That is insane for that area. Room was a little small, but after touring on the subways all day it feels huge!

Are there any other good warrior sites to visit?

Like does anyone know where The Warriors ran into the Orphans, I saw one building had 6600 on it, that is a good clue.

What graveyard were they in?

details on the Conclave location, I know it is in Manhattan, not the Bronx.

Subway station locales both inside and out, like the bathroom they fought the Punks, and the one they ran away from the Furies at, I think its the 96th street 1-2-3-9 station, but I also heard it was the 72nd.

What about the park they fought the Furies in.

We should put together a tourist guide for Warriors in NYC. That would absolutely rule!

What do you guys think?

Cool bigger version of that Warriors mural pic! I like the fact that the painter made Ajax the main focus, instead of Swan. Glad to see Snow and Cochise on there too.
Big Cyrus. He was gonna run the whole city...what crap that was.

i think i read somewhere that the furies fight scene was in riverside park. some easy places to find would be the entrance to central park where the furies are chasing the warriors and the long set of stairs leading out of the park (where swan split with cowboy & snow)

that would be so cool to make our own 'warriors location shots' guide. it would be even better if that was part of the new dvd release. they could do a then and now tour.

i can't get to NYC very often, maybe once every couple years and it's all work, but i will definitely make time to do a thorough 'follow the warriors' tour next time i go. and i will take lots of pictures!

Both the entrance to the park and the steep stairway are in Riverside Park. I am pretty sure no shooting was done at Central Park. I started taking pictures of these sights and plan to post them here next week.

No way! That is crazy.

Anyone have any info on the subway station where the Turnbulls chased the Warriors?

Or where the Orphans were?

Nice one Jamie. I should make a film locations section part of the site, so die hard fans know which stations / parks / shops etc. to visit. Any word on where the graveyard is supposed to be?
