*UPDATED* Original Script
I was reading over the story again, a lot of the characters are harder edge in the story like Fox and Vermin than they were in the movie, especially Fox he really comes across as unlikable and stand offish. Did they change the characters personalities a little to make sure that audiences would want them to make it back to Coney? After all who wants to root for a bunch of jerks that just get on each others nerves through the whole movie.

I dunno, Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon were bickering through most of Taxi, but they were pretty likeable....Harley wrote:After all who wants to root for a bunch of jerks that just get on each others nerves through the whole movie.
then again, I'm a 13-year old who doesn't have the greatest judgement, so maybe that's not too good of an example....

*UPDATED* Original Script
It's kinda two different circumstances. Latifah and Fallon are a big time comic duo hunting down criminals, the Warriors were mostly unknown actors portraying gang members who's original intent was to be part of a plan to take over the city.

Very true, very true...Harley wrote:It's kinda two different circumstances. Latifah and Fallon are a big time comic duo hunting down criminals, the Warriors were mostly unknown actors portraying gang members who's original intent was to be part of a plan to take over the city.
That being said, if I saw a buncha unknown saps trying to get home and they looked all ragged like The Warriors and they were arguing amongst themselves, I probably wouldn't root for them.
