I always thought that the witness was supposed to represent one of us. It would have been weird if he was unique looking, because than we would have to much thoughts and worries about this guy. I believe he was a random gang member who was supposed to represent all of us who wanted some justice to be done.

I think this topic was covered many months ago, I doubt he was a Rogue, or had a previous beef with the Rogues and Luthor, but who knows? The topic back then regarding the informant was trying to figure out what gang he was from, since there were no noticeable markings on his clothes. I don't know, to me, he looked like a member of the American Eagles, a fictional gang ofcourse, but his appearance and all just fits right in with that gang.

im just confused at the fact they knew where the rouges were going.
i mean at first masai doesnt know who the warriors, then he wants them wasted, and somehow after the informant gets into the picture, he knows where the warriors hang out and knows that the rouges are there no way is that coincidence.

That can't be possible, because if the informant was the same guy that Cropsey throws the candy bar to, why would that guy also be at Coney Island at the end of the movie, when the Riffs show up? All the Rogues, all 9 of them were there, so that would have to include the informant if you are saying he is the same guy, and ofcourse, all the Rogues get wasted at the end of the movie by the Riffs, as the Warriors are walking away. The only other scenario I can think of is if it was the same person, he was also let go by the Riffs, but at the same time, when did he have time to leave the Rogues, go all the way back to Gramercy Park, and snitch on his fellow Rogues? hmmm..

this dude could be the guy Luther kept on talking to on the phone, he gt all the info he needed and told the riffs everything. How bout that?

I stil say that the guy on the phone informed the riffs  but here's an addition to the theory, the dude saw Luther when he shot Cyrus gets phionecalls blaming another gang he has enough of it and tells the riffs.
