Wigam Warrior, I am going to throw out a thought here, now that I have sobered up from the mental images from above, that take me back to a different place! LOL
You do realize when he is kissing Mercy, he is trying to "do it all wrong" don't you?
His kiss in that tunnel, wasn't about romance, or liking her or even getting on her good side,
it was really about power, control, and proving a point about his attitude, and her place in his world.
IF he was trying to be a romantic kisser, I would have to agree with you, he was doing it wrong, but he was demonstrating, not impressing, and with that mindframe, well he did it pretty right in my thought pattern, the whole scene worked for me in '79, and still works for me now.
But to each their own, and if it didn't work for you, wrong may be the right word for you in that part.
I have been thinking entirely too much about kissing here, may have to go to bed and wake Hubby.
but when i watch movies i don't understand everything what happens (cause i'm a dumbass). when i watched it i knew Mercy wanted to errrrrr make love but i just though swan was a poo kisser 8)
