During the Lizzies hangout, when Rembrandt doesn't like any of the girls and just walks around,my friend suggests he's gay.
He's not gay he's just sober. Cochise and Vermin however had one to many shots of liquor
Besides if you were at a party and some broad came up to you breathing down your neck wouldn't you be a little suspicious.
Thinking "down there" isn't the way to go.

before he gets thrown into the mirror he gets a good shot to the gut that would have knocked the wind out of him.
so that makes him hurt twice in my book

You know gangs do some illegal things and while they're pulling off the deed they need lookouts with some sense. Rembrandt probably did that. Robbers have get away drivers that don't use muscle or guns so the kid was probably a watcher when the gang was boosting car radios or whatever.
*smacks forehead*Uuugh...Storm... You don't get it. Ja I know I'm not that naive thank you very much. I mean have you SEEN some lizzies there. And there are all these folk going "uugghh Beer goggles." I'm saying he wasn't all over them (thank god) cuz he's sober. Don't talk down to me!!!! I may be younger but I'm not stupid.

Yep I agree that Cleon asked him to go for a learning experience and to hit everything in site, he could fight to if he had to...
All this thread has proven is that Rembrandt was anything but useless, true he didn't brawl like a pro, but he got a couple of good shots in for greenhorn. His tagging skills are beside the point, he's the level headed one, the observer, he actually took the time to see what was going on around him, unlike some of the group. In time he would be an excellent soldier, he just needs to grow into his position.

Well said. I get that they're all supposed to be soldiers of sort. But, for example, in my riding days, we had a couple of guys that weren't as daring or fast on the road but who made up for it in other ways. And now that I can't ride anymore, (I could but it would mean instant divorce) I'm not left behind to play Tetris.(a favorite of mine.) I still go with them to bike week and all that knid of stuff. My point is that every memeber of a group has its role.
