the theme song, on the soundtrack, is different than the one in the movie! it's missing the part at the very beginning. when they first get on the train, that electronic pulse. DUN, DUN, DUN, DUN. and the next part, BNNNA, NANNA, NANNA, NANNA! (HEY, SHUT-UP!!! IT'S HARD TO WRITE SOUNDS!!) LOLOL i just thought that was kinda strange. :?

I noticed that. I've listed the starting beats as one of my fave parts.

Could be a possible copywrite thing---music is tricky, and if the writer /performer whoever owns the rights, won't give them up for video resale rights, a lot of production companies do a similar substitute-so they don't have to worry about copywrite infringement, and they figure hopefully no one will mind.

And overseas, since they haven't heard the original, usually they don't care, but some American audiences DO big time.

they had to change some of the music for the dvd release of the GReatest American Hero tv show, and there was a lot of bitter howling.
