Ajax in ironic film role

Hey all,

Sorry to expose this unsightly circumstance upon all the Ajax devotees out there.
First of all let me preface this by stating that James Remar is/was an ACTOR. He
had to make his bones whenever and wherever he could. There is a movie from 1980
called "Cruising" starring a young Al Pacino. It is about the hardcore gay S&M scene
at that time. As a kid I always knew about this movie, but I never cared to see it
because I found the subject matter to be repulsive at worst and uninteresting at
best. Well I finally decided to go ahead and watch it cuz it is kind of a seminal film
for it's time, and also featured The Germs in the soundtrack. It is a movie about an
undercover cop ( Al Pacino ) who infiltrates the gay leather scene in NYC to find
a serial killer who is preying on gay men. Anyhow, at right around 1:19:30 in the
film, James Remar has a bit part as a gay boyfriend to a character in the film. Very
interesting to see Ajax "going faggot"! Check it for yourself and trip out.

I decided to edit my original post a bit. It certainaly was not my
intention to offend anybody in anyway. I still stand by the original
intent tho, which was to point out an obscure acting scene
in another film by a big name from the warriors, as well as the
ironic nature of the character in this film as opposed to Ajax's
obviously homophobic tough guy.

tone it down a tad.

Gayjax!

Checked the film out, its very depraved but still a pretty good thriller... dont think ill fancy watching it again though.

Must've been cool for Remar to play against Pacino in that scene though!
