They didn't know until AFTER meeting the LIZZIES that THEY were the ones wanted for the Cyrus killing. From the start, they all were worried about getting home. That was all on their mind. They all saw Cyrus get shot and that was life. They knew it wasn't one of their own who did it, so it was a non-discussion. It was done and they didn't care who did it, they wanted to just get home. None of the other gangs they encountered said anything about Cyrus or the RIFFS call-out on the radio. As far as the WARRIORS knew, each gang was defending their turf. They just thought the truce was off. I don't think it was a plot hole. They didn't really have time to sit and say: "Who saw who shot Cyrus?" "I saw, it was those ROUGES guys! He almost shot me!" "Man those guys are screwed!" They weren't just riding the train home to Coney, relaxing and talking. I don't remember (and don't feel like going through it again), but in the original script (before they killed Fox), did he ever tell the others what he saw?

Yes, he did. Fox tells them in the graveyard. I'll have a look for the original post.

Wow, interesting descision not to include that in the movie. I guess if you
don't think about it too hard, it works out better.

After that madness you see the Rogues waiting for you on your turf, what would you assume? If a gang is dedicated enough to pursue you till your turf… they are not looking for justice, they did it.

Funny you mention that, I watched the movie again last night and was thinking exactly the same thing.

Not only did the Warriors seem to know the Rogues shot Cyrus but Swan asked Luther as if he knew it was Luther that did it?

How did Swan know?

Like I said before, the warriors knew the rogues did it because what was cut from the scipt. I have no idea if this was filmed or not. Would have been a good question to ask Tom Waites at the Q&A session. Although after 30 years, he might not recall.

Anyways.......

Fox: I saw who creamed him

Vermin: You saw who shot cyrus?

Fox: Yeah

Cochise: who the F**K was it?

Fox: Guy from the Rogues. South Bronx gang. Real punk.

Swan: You sure it was the Rogues?

Fox: Yeah. I saw the guy that did it.... and he saw me.

Ah, well that clears that up then, thanks.

Still doesn't help the film out though as it leaves a gap.

Maybe Fox had already been fired before they got round to filming that scene, so they had no choice but to leave it out.
