That video is pretty much what I expect the new movie to be like, if it happens.

In other words: a waste of time and money.GrandTheftAaron wrote:That video is pretty much what I expect the new movie to be like, if it happens.

Re: Warriors References?
Got to agree, whatever they did with a new movie it's never gonna live up to the original.

Did they think he was an alien or an alium?PadLock wrote:There was an Episode of "RugRats" where they all though chucky was an ALien

Awesome. Jericho's book is on my "to read" list, so I'm looking forward to that part. There is no end to this man's coolness. Well, the tiny spandex trunks might qualify as an end, but he wore those post-autobiography anyway so they don't count.Ninth Delegate wrote:I'm currently reading Chris Jericho's autobiography. One of the chapters is called "Can you dig it?"; so called because he compares a speech addressed to the ECW wrestlers by Paul Heymen, to that of Cyrus in the movie; rallying the troops to get them hyped up.

There is a reference song from artist called MC Ren. He was member of old school hip hop group called N.W.A.
His second album has song called 11:55 where he used reference from The Warriors movie - on the first track. That track is intro of the album, and on the beginning you can hear Cyrus speaking: "Because we got the streets suckas! Can you dig it?!"
Here is link of the track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKTi2axmvuU (beginning)
There is another song where hip hop artist called WC (from Westside Connection) used reference from the movie. In his song called Hog he said:
"Who's the West baddest livest
standin' center stage controllin' the crowd like Cyrus
Warriors come out to play"
