Jarus the poster artist=Tom Jarus, Rogue?

I've wondered for awhile if this is just a coincidence. On the wonderful original poster art for the film, the artist's name is clearly visible next to the bat of the Fury in front. It says "Jarus." The credits list a "Tom Jarus" as one of the Rogues. Has anyone else noticed this correlation and/or have more information on Jarus, the actor or the artist?

It could be, someone else e-mailed me today with that:

"The poster artwork is signed "Jarus" just above the left arm of the Fury in front.  In the film credits, a "Tom Jarus" is credited as a Rogue.  I think this is probably the same person and that Tom Jarus is the artist responsible for the poster art.  I have a movie poster book of the 70s, which credits Jarus as well, but they misspell the name "Janus.""

Now that I have a larger image of the poster, the signature loks to have a letter I before the S (it's got a dot above it)  So would his name be Jaruis or is that sqiggle something other than a letter U?

I wasn't far off. It's a letter V, not a U.
The artists name is David Jarvis
