What an ass..... Why did they let someone young who had never seen this classic before review the disc?!?!?

The reviewer asks...

"Several questions, however, are left unanswered. The first is simple; aside from dramatic tension, why didn?t the Warriors try to go incognito? Through the film they flagrantly wear their ?colors? through rival gang territory. One would think that if the entire city is looking for ?The Warriors? to beat you up? and if you can easily disguise that fact by taking off your vest? you should probably do it..."

Ummm, because until they find out late in the film from The Lizzies that they are accused of shooting Cyrus, they don't KNOW that they specifically are being hunted plus Swan states, We don't do that." about taking off their colors. Also if they did take off their colors, (which would NEVER happen) wouldn't 8 guys with no shirts on (except for Ajax's tank and cowboy's muscle-T) look a little weird on the train???

Exactly, and yeah, it's specifically addressed in The Oprhans scene. They're too durn proud for that.

I guess the reviewer really did check his brain at the door, as he suggests.

This reviewer just doesn't get it. " ...the pacing seemed off. " What?? And as for not feeling anything he is just plain crazy. Each Warrior has his own personality that is well developed which makes you feel for each character. Clearly this reviewer should stick to something like Olsen twins movies.

He was pretty accurate on the quality of the vidio, audio and features of the film (all very good). But for the rest I'm still shaking from anger. Although there might be another bad review out there the majority have been excellent and I don't think this clown should worry us. Seems like most critics are idiots anyway and I think you just found the new leader.

Truthfully, this being NYC, if eight guys are walking together with no shirts on, no one would probably even think twice about it .

Reminds me of a great story KISS has. In 1974 they thought they'd "freak everyone out" by walking through Central Park for a photo session, and get everyone's great reactions to them on film for some wild shots. But this is NYC, and while people sometimes smiled a little, even KISS just didn't freak anyone out. There's a few great photos of mean looking Gene Simmons (when KISS looked like they crawled out from under a rock) on a park bench talking to a few old ladies and they're acting like he's one of them. They have other pictures from then where old men who couldn't care less, are simply trying to move around KISS because KISS was in their way on the sidewalk. Gotta love NYC!

One funny story I have, is I was showing an out of town friend some of the "touristy" sites. We were going on the observation deck (86th floor) of the Empire State Building. Near the floor, everyone had to go through a security checkpoint, like at an airport. There was a guy dressed as a pirate on the line. It wasn't near Halloween. No one could care less. My friend said to me, "there's a guy dressed as a pirate on the line, and no one seems to care." Security checked him quick like they did everyone else, and off he went. Welcome to New York!

There's a million of 'em. I saw Spiderman about a month or so ago, in costume, leave the Toys R Us at Broadway and 44th. Guy must have gotten off work there, being Spiderman. He had a suitcase with him and was flagging a cab. No one cared, not one head turned, though a few did say "what's up Spiderman" as they passed by him.

There's a million of these stories, sorry to get off topic!

But yes, that reviewer seems like he not only never saw the movie but didn't even bother this time either, since he didn't hear Swan address the issue of the colors to the Orphans.
