how many characters had real names in the film,i can think of mercy,luther and possibly cyrus(is that a real name?)with out looking at the credits.how come they didn't have gang names ie.swan ajax,vermin etc.
was mercy in the orphans gang?

she must have been the Orphans leader sister, she just likes action and went with the warriors for the action maybe.

Mercy just happened to live in the same neighborhood as the Orphans. She's well known in that area. She gets lots of action on fridays and saturdays are better.

i know whats the punks leader and the orphans leader and orphans 2nd in command  punks leader name is Vance and orphan leader name is Sully and orphan 2nd in command is Jessie

Thats in the game. We go by the movie because the game is what Rockstar made up.

Swan is a valid last or family name......

it's likely that Cleon is a real name. *nods*

Is it possible that the leader types use their real names? Cleon, Luther, Cyrus (I'm assuming that's his real name, sounds like it could be). Masai doesn't seem like the characters "real" name, it sounds like it's asian influenced.

Even in the game (I'm not really dragging this into the discussion just usign it as an addition) the leader of the Destroyers is Virgil.

Perhaps it's a bit of an honour to use your real name if you're the leader.

I keep thinking the real actor's name was Apache Ramos, don't think they ever gave a name to the Orphan's second, but I could be on a wrong track.

okay, your right ranch gal. apache is the actors name, not the characters. guess im just going half crazy.
