The Lizzie says the line something like "There up in the Bronx" I always had an idea that the Lizzies where girlfriends of a gang. And a gang had the idea of getting their Girlfriends to kill them by seducing them.

That may be. I always thought they were acting alone in order to be the ones to say that they got the Warriors. The comment about their "dudes" being up in the Bronx was a good way to get the Warriors mind off any other gangs.
Also, Vermin calls them a "click." Is this different from a gang or is that the chick name for a gang?

I think so too, their actions as well as the group name (Lizzies) kind of implies a certain sexual preference.
adios,

My thought was always that the Lizzies were the girlfriends of another gang, who went to the 'big meeting in the Bronx.' I never thought the Lizzies (despite the name) were full-out lesbians, because while that is implied, it isn't clear enough. But the Lizzie's were definitely looking for The Warriors when they came across them, so one of three things is possible -
1 - They were at the big meeting and beat the Warriors to the station;
2 - They were not at the meeting and since they are lesbians, they got the word (just like all the other gangs) to seek The Warriors; or -
3 - They were not at the big meeting and their boyfriends sent the word back to them about The Warriors.
But again about the lesbian thing, my take was always that the Lizzies were bisexual, they had bf's in another gang but also possibly had some fun on their own amongst themselves.
About Vermin asking "what clique is this," a clique is a group of people who regularly hang out/spend time together, a common word used here in the US.

Well if you remember correctly, that chick on the radio sent out the word.
So it's possible that they could've heard through the radio.

The Lizzies deffinatley had dudes. Just because the girls were dancing doesn't make them lesbians. Girls dance together and go to the bathroom all the time together. I think they heard the word from the radio and that their guys were coming back from the meeting. The girls were probley waiting for their guys when the Warriors showed up.

				Sounds about right to me

Anyone read the novel? (which is rather hard to find these days.)
It might have a better explaination in it.

				This is silly.
The idea of a all-girl street gang in the 1970s was remarkably unique for its time.
Since then, there actually has been a huge rise in girl street criminal outfits, especially in Los Angeles.
So really, the Lizzies are a gang that, like in the great tradition of Greek myth, they use their sexual allure to death trap their victims.

In the novel there is no all-girl gang.  I also believe that they used their boobs to entice the Warriors to their liar and then bash them really good.  Don't believe that they were really dykes - just tough chicks.

I thought Clique could be used to describe a gang subunit like "platoon" or "squad" in the army. while I'm not sure if they had boyfriends, I would think they at least had an association with a male gang, alot like how certain sororities are always associated with certain fraternities. Also, I don't beleive the Lizzies are even in the book.

				Huh?
They're a gang of their own...no dudes, no boyfriends, etc.
Why can't people accept that?

Because when Cochise asks where their 'dudes' are, they say that they're lame and they're up in th Bronx, so either shes lying or they do have 'dudes'.
