so heres my question...
if all the gangs were at the big meeting, it would've taken each gang some amount of time to get home.....so how the heck did all them gangs make it back to their territories so quickly? some gangs had cars/buses but what about the dudes on foot patrol? and the dudes who took the subway?

now keep in mind the warriors did catch the train fairly quickly after the meeting got busted up, then shortly after there was a track fire which would stopped all the trains that run along that track.

Keep in mind that at the big meeting there were only nine representatives from the major gangs there. Nine delegates from a hundred gangs. That's 900 people out of a total gang population of over 60,000.

And The Orphans weren't even at the meeting.

Some of they're turf isn't 50-100 miles away. :p

I think Vermin failed geography before joining the Warriors. The Warriors were 27 miles behind enemy lines.

Well this goes back to some gang members staying behind.  I think these are the ones that the Warriors face.

For one whos to say Vermin was ever good in Geography anyways? He was only guessing judging of how far they have gone.. anyway, the gangs technically didnt make it that quickly home before the Warriors other than Turnbull AC's having transportation to chase down The Warriors the rest of the gangs at the big meeting you see that they were running around all of the place and not knowing where exactl to go some you saw climbing the walls some trying to climb over rails etc. But also how would you know if some of those gangs ever made it back home? There were alot of cops there in and oustide of the area of the big meeting. Yes The Orphans wernt even at the meeting so thats just one of those encounters you just stumble on after getting off the train. It is likely some of the gangs or gang members stayed behind and not have gone to the meeting which you see some of the gangs in the film getting ready to patrol to look for The Warriors. The gangs can only go a certain length in order to go after The Warriors without invading another gangs territory so all in all there wasnt really any quickness for anyone to get anywhere if you look at it.  It would of been cool to see The Warriors stumble near The Jones Street Boys or even The Hurricanes.

Well I've always wondered that, and it's a little bit strange!
Cause Turnbulls were near the conclave and orphans(...we know about them).... so ok!!! But furies, lizzies and punks 4 istance could get the same  Warriors train... instead they were already home when Warriors arrived in their turfs! Plus ,to me, they were just the 9 from conclave... so I don't know, had they a car? Since I suppose, from conclave to first available subway stop there was the same distance 4 everybody(by a good scout or not!). So either The Warriors were slowcoaches(and I DON'T THINK SO!) or it's simply odd... well it's simply the movie! 8)

some interesting points here,or maybe they were still on the way back and the others heard on the radio, what id like to know is why no other gang went to the graveyard aswell as the warriors why just the warriors going in there how did everybody else get out

must have been alot of memebers that got busted though, alot of gans losing members, maybe some gangs lost a warlord because of the cops, imagine that gangs without their warlords just like the warriors, but yeah must have been after the warriors left other gangs used the graveyard as an escape
