Warrior Seniority (in the movie)

Post by emissary »

They couldn't have all been "vested" on the same day. I was thinking about who has been there the longest. I started with that cemetary scene. Why was Ajax claiming "right" to take over. Maybe he's been there as long as Swan. Let's say Rembrandt has the least seniority. What about the others? It's tough, I know. But I'd say, strictly speaking of time in the gang: Cleon, Swan-Ajax, Fox-Snow, Vermin-Cowboy-Cochise, Rembrandt.

I think I would have to agree with that order. It makes the most sense to myself.

The order in which each joined the gang. This would determine seniority for the most part.

Cleon & Vermin (Founders)
Swan & Cowboy
Ajax & Snow
The Fox
Cochise
Rembrandt

I think the game has it wrong, I'd say it's as though Cleon, Swan & the Fox are the founders, then all of the other Warriors are the soldiers.

The reason Swan was chosen as War Lord is that he's more level headed than Vermin. I mean, Cleon formed The Warriors, Vermin just tagged along. No offense to him, but he's not leader material.

As far as the game is going, I'm thinking everything in it is probably official, or might as well be considered official (mostly, minus the few huge changes from the movie. Like the new end fight with The Rogues). I doubt they'll ever be another Warriors move (a sequel to the 1979 movie at least) or another game.

I think that Fox joined the gang before Snow, he seems like a very mature guy, the guy with the information... I don't know... He just seems to have a little more power than Snow.
